Yeah, but the walkaway lock is a nice feature. Would be a lot better if Ford allowed "safe zones" where the walkaway lock does not engage. The groundwork is there because you can already set a home charging location.
I agree. I'm just not going to get upset about not being able to do this. Life's too short to be annoyed by things like this when there's an easy work around.

Here are mine. What are yours?

I’m a new owner just bought my Select AWD February 24. So far I love everything but the battery range is REALLY disappointing. It’s been cold in SoCal but I am barely averaging 200 miles. In hindsight I might have reconsidered the AWD or even might have even sprung for the Premium…

People sure do love to complain about things. But this is the Internet, so I suppose that's what it's for. Complaining about things they have the power to change if they really "hate" it that much is sad to me. There are other cars available out there in the world, you know. :)

I agree with you that the word "hate" is such hyperbole and often used as "click bait."

I see people still complain about their ICE., and many have been building them for 90+ years. For many of these EVs and manufacturers, it’s a first gen build. I’ve recognized we are the beta testers for this new tech.

some of these issues seem so easy to fix though… crossing fingers.

I don't hate anything, but I wish we could see charging speed (AC and DC), and set limits (both speed and universal charging limit).

I used to hate not being able to open the frunk with a fob, but fixed that with a lightning fob.

As I noted elsewhere, I traded in my 2021 Mach E rear wheel drive er premium with less than 3,000 miles for a 2023 Lexus RX 350 hybrid. I found the Mach E much too complicated; didn’t care for how long the OTAs took to be sent; was not happy with the relatively small size; and coming from a Ford Explorer, I didn’t like how low to the ground it sat. Ford did not impress me. I also decided that I could not use it on any long drives because I really couldn’t trust the availability of public charging stations.

Understood but how often do you use the frunk? I never do as its a pain to close.
Watch a recent video from Mach n Cheese. He shows how to adjust the frunk bumpers and easily close the frunk hood. I found it very helpful.

Are you suggesting that if people want something fixed or improved, then rather than complain about it they should just sell their car, likely at a significant loss? That seems a bit… hyperbolic.

Or are you simply upset by the word “hate” as opposed to “dislike” or “frustrated by”? That seems a bit persnickety.

Ford can do better. It can fix some obvious bugs, and it can make some relatively easy improvements. And I’d prefer to point those things out rather than sell my car which overall I like very much.

I tried that and doesn't help. Also misaligns the hood.
