For me, it's PaaK. I have only used it once, and honestly, I just wished it worked consistently, and maybe I would have trust and faith in it.

PS: Yes, I understand that for some, it just works. But...............

As for rarely use and highly value, remote start. i rarely use it because it takes so long to start I'm usually already at the car by the time it would start.
With FordPass 5.x it often doesn’t work unless I keep the app in the foreground and don’t let the phone sleep until it’s successful. ?ā€ā™‚?

The slow, AC wall power charger. Useful in a pinch when travelling, charge overnight at a motel etc.
Naah, the FMC is not useful. Too many people have issues with theirs. Maybe it’s OK at L1, but it’s suspect at L2. ??

PaaK works fine for most. It’s usually a phone or connectivity issue (sometimes a car issue) when it doesn’t work. For example: My PaaK worked just fine until I set the app to allow location only while using the app. The doors will not unlock until I have the app in the foreground. Even if it’s not in the foreground, if I use the keypad to get in I can start the car with the phone asleep(due to different technologies and routines involved). ?ā€ā™‚?

For what it's worth, I've been using the FMC about 5 times a month for for three years on L2 in my integral garage that is sheltered from the weather somewhat. It has never given me any problem, aside from a hot day orange LED about 1/4 of the front indicator. In that state I get a couple of kW less delivery but it is still fully operational. Otherwise, perfectly satisfied with its use.

Exactly. I look only so cool to the rows of Teslas and Rivians at work that just, start.
ā€˜Oh you can’t adjust the settings?’
ā€˜Nope and I have to watch the app while it tries or it quits.’

I don't use ford's voice assistant much but I do use it to set the temperature from time to time. It is nice to do instead of using the screen.

Also the keypad on the door and the password to drive the car inside when PAAK gets weird.

I would answer this backwards....

The features I value highly are the ones I use A LOT, some of which I had to add:

- door pillar code entry/lock
- screen startcode for PAAK failure
added - rear receiver hitch
added - 12v, and HV disconnect access holes
added - 12v heavy duty charge/export connections

The features which I wish were NOT included that that I NEVER use are. I would love a lower trim level without these at a lower cost pricepoint:

- BlueCruise
- Driver 'alerts', the front ones at least
- Driver assist steering/braking/parking
- power seats, hatch, hood
I agree on the Blue Cruise. Most of the roads I travel on don't even have painted lines, let alone part of the Blue Cruise system.

I have also disabled lane centering. On roads with lines, it starts drifting toward the center then snaps back to center. Then it starts drifting toward the edge and snaps back. A couple of gentle curves almost had me in the ditch. Dealer said to use lane centering more and it will learn/improve. Not going to give it a chance.

What is one feature that your car has that you use rarely, but highly value and would be annoyed if @Ford Motor Company removed?
For me, it’s the entry keypad. While I don’t use it too often, it’s a great feature to have and the times I have used it, it’s been incredibly convenient. I hope the @Ford Motor Company decontenting Gods never touch this feature!

Rarely use, but love? That would be the keypad for me also.

Several that I never use.
Blue Cruise - 3-month trial expired without using it once
Lane Centering - won't keep car centered
Voice Controls - except the occasional swear word
PAAK - I don't think it works with flip phones
All the audio except for Sirius (Elvis, 40's, 50's, 60's channels)
Using phone through car - that's what the wife next to me is for

Does it count to say the approach lighting is a feature I use rarely but highly value. Of course the reason it’s rarely used is because it rarely works.

Front passenger seat. I’m so lonely.

The brakes……..long live OPD?
So glad to hear you're enjoying the One Pedal Drive feature, Mark! We'd love to see a pic of your Mach-E!
