I wonder how much I can get for a trade-in?
I highly recommend checking with CarMax to see what they'd offer you, it might be higher than doing a trade-in. But before all of that, check KBB, Nadaguides, and current market values via autotrader and cars.com.

We're handing down one of our two 2013 Escape Titaniums (which we love) to a family member, so the Mach-e will take it's place. Our first BEV. That'll give us one BEV and one ICE, which is a great combo. We'll use the MME for most around-home driving, and the Escape for longer trips and secondarily around home.

Oh no - I most definitely will not miss pumping gas twice a week, and oil changes every few months (I commute 50 miles each way)...
Same, and I have pump fatigue. My 2016 Escape has 147,000 miles - I love the car, my daughter will get to drive it.

We're in the opposite boat. We retired just a year after getting the 2nd 2013 Escape. It's barely been driven in 5 years (our other Escape sits in the primary space in the garage so it's gets most of the use). The 2nd Escape only has 25,000 miles on it, and is coming up on almost 8 years old. The family member it's going to is getting a nearly-new car.

I will be replacing my 2017 Focus RS for a Mach E GT
The RS! Which color did you have? When I was younger that was my dream car but now I see it's impractical for my life lol

1996 Ford Taurus. Have been driving it since 1999. Ready for a change and A/C that works.

Another 2013 Chevy Volt upgrade story.

I would have stuck with Chevy if they would have continued the model and made improvements, but they decided to cancel the Volt.

IMHO, I think the the Bolt is a bit on the ugly side and cheap looking. Sorry to any Bolt owners.

I liked the Kia Nero EV, but it is only available in a few states. And mine is not one of them.

My next choice would have been a Tesla Y, but then I saw the Mach E and liked the style better and interior much better.

And to be completely honest, the fact that Ford still qualifies for the full $7500 tax credit did come into play with my decision.

Replacing our 2003 4Runner with 165,000 miles.

Our Lincoln MKX moves to second car, behind the Mach-E.
