You’ll be fine with the CR1, if you believe Ford. Apparently only the ER AWD, GT, and GTPE can produce enough power to irreparably damage the HVBJB.Thanks for the quick and supportive replies! I looked at the Tesla Y (seems like a lower price until you try to finance it, then Tesla has huge APR and money facto), Subaru Solterra (lousy range), EV6 (ugly, cheap feeling, and not cheaper cost), ID4 (lousy range).
This forum hasn't been fully of haters, but tons on YT and other internet sources.
I'm not a big road tripper, so public charging isn't an issue for me.
I hear Telsa isn't very well built.
A few follow-up questions.
Is the HVBJB a problem with '23s or just earlier? Is it a problem for all cars or just some?
