The 90 day waiting period is advertised in many places.

No A-plan either?? Nothing??? Sorry if all this is Moot and I waisted your time..... I wanted that Car!!! Best car ever...
Yes, A/Z plans are still fine, but that's irrelevant as you aren't qualified for one, are you?

X-Plan discount was a whole 2%, less $275. If that stops you from buying that car....

X-plan would've saved you about ~$1200. If that amount of money is make or break to get the car, then you need to take a hard look at your household budget. Maybe a $75K car is not the best option for you.

Ok thank you, but I need it in 30 days. Do you think I can get it quicker than 90 days?
It's not worth that much. My dealer actually honored the xplan when I bought my 2021 Premium in May 2021, and it was only 750 dollars. Nothing to write home about for sure.

So what can I get from the MUSTANG. CLUB OF AMERICA??
You need to present the MCA Membership card along with the pin to the dealer to get x-plan pricing. The MCA card has a “member since” date on it.

$750 on the car but also ~$400 on the fees. I got my ‘21 Premium in Aug 2021 and boy have the prices increased.

If someone worked for Ford, they get Z plan. They cannot give a Z-Plan PIN to anyone, it has to be used by them or immediate family. I don't believe that retirees are given X-Plan to give to people, current employees are.

X-Plan is not a number, it's a percentage. Calculated as 98% of MSRP, plus $275, and paperwork fee is limited to $100. In other words, it's worth 2% of MSRP less $275. OP wants to buy a GT, so it would be worth more than $1,000. Fees depending on how much the dealer was trying to charge vs. the $100 max.

What @Jesse Vos seems to not understand is that X-Plan can't be used on a 2023 period. End of discussion. And that A/Z plan PINs cannot be given to someone else except immediate family.

He'll need to pay MSRP and whatever dealer fees they want to charge. Had he researched this many months ago, he'd not be surprised now.

My dealer doesn't seem to know what your talking about. So that's good at least. I can't believe rude people from the internet. I gave the dealer my code. That will probably keep their fees low at least.

I just used X-plan to purchase my long awaited 2022 (I’m in the automotive industry and we partner with Ford on various software/hardware initiatives). It didn’t save me much under MSRP, but I avoided the dealer fees, “lifetime warranty/fabric protection/headlight protection/etc” deal they want to add on to every car sold. Only negotiating was for the trade in, sold my 2013 Nissan Leaf, 90k miles, 44 mile range for $4k, dealer wanted to only give me 5k for an 06 Tundra, Double Cab, 4x4, 150k miles, (300 mile range, and 200 mile range when towing 7500lb boat!)

Someone that works/ed for Ford gets A/Z. They can share that A/Z rate via a unique pin for each transaction with immediate family members and their spouses. The can also share a unique X plan pin for each transaction with friends. They get four pins a year to use either on themselves or doling out to friends and family.

When you purchase A/Z you must have your sponsors name, your relationship, your pin and you give them the last four digits of your social security number to verify it is you. The dealership is paid for these by Ford but Ford can audit the dealership and deny them payment if the plan rules are not followed.

I don't know how it works with X (how you verify) as I've never done it, but assume it's similar.

Dealers don't have to take A/Z plan if they don't want to. And they can try and add in all the fees you will let them. The rules of the plan limits them in some ways but they can play dumb and hope that you don't know what the rules are.
