I received this from a friend the other day, similar to what we’ve seen in the previous teaser videos but a communication that should be going out to people shortly I believe. It may be live online or from other sources, but this was the first I saw it!

It details out some of the new functionality and design changes coming to the Mach-E interface. Larger CarPlay screen real estate. Added functionality of the volume knob. Changes to top bar for clarity and ease of use.

Not having a dedicated camera and trunk button on the screen is still a huge swing and a miss.. only vehicle in fords line up without a camera button readily available

Hoping easier access to cameras will be included

Further expanding CarPlay and The Knob are good improvements. Agree it sure would be nice to get one-tap Home Screen access to trunk and cams.

I'm not a big fan of them trying to add color. I get from a UI point-of-view that it might help with understanding but I think it ruins the simplicity of the original design. Mostly referring to the screenshots showing color icons next to the tiles for CarPlay/phone/radio/etc.

Totally agree that it's incredibly disappointing that we don't have a dedicated camera button. IMHO it's the most commonly requested feature and so simple to add. Ugh.

Man I really wish they could move that camera button to the status bar. Demote Alexa instead.

How in the hell could they have missed adding the camera button? Who is in charge over there? Are they programming from an isolated underground bunker?

Does anyone actually use Alexa? I would love to see some usage statistics on that. I would bet below 10% have it set up and actively use it. I have to imagine that Amazon is paying Ford to have it there.

Is this the big UI overhaul we were supposed to get this fall. If so, I am a bit underwhelmed but not too surprised.

Echoing everyone else…a dedicated camera and hatch button on the screen would be very welcome. Just let us create shortcuts!
