They haven't loaned me a Mach E. Their FCTP car hasn't even arrived yet. They offered me an Explorer ST (in blue because I obviously like that color) but I turned them down -- for now at least. If they HAD offered me a Mach E I'd have definitely said yes.
You should take it. We have an Explorer ST (super fun but noisy compared to the Mach-E). I would love to know if you think, like I do, that the Mach-E has about the same acceleration feel.

@Metal_Horses what do you think? Since I see your garage mates match mine. LOL

I guess, but I'm not sure we would know of that other than this forum. Funny how some of most active members got hit with this all at once.

and above post reply SnBGC, they are absolutely under obligation to tell us, or me at least, if they want my money! this is serious business. You certainly can feel however you want about it.
There are only a handful of us who have reported problems. While I agree the Forum is not a source of valid statistical sampling, I've been watching other sources. I'm not seeing any mention of issues on the myriad Mach E FB sites (other than dealers calling cars in for the 21B02 software update), and very little on the Mach E Club.

I may if this drags on. However, it would have just been one more car to clear ice off this morning!

Acceleration, our MMe 4X feels faster than the Explorer ST, especially 0-30. That instant torque sensation.

On paper I think the MMe 4X is 0-60: 4.8 and 1/4 mile in 13.4
ExpST is 0-60 5.2 and 1.4 mile in 13.8?

Saying that, I'm really impressed that the MMe doesn't lose that .4 sec advantage throughout the quarter. I thought the gas engine would gain ground past 60

Mine has been sitting in KC for weeks with no movement

Well if Mach E forum has 2600 members, and x percentage have taken delivery and of that y are having "issues", thats not a data point I would totally ignore either. I would say ford has others outside of our circle that too have the issue. It would be foolish to think otherwise. I would assume they too are being taken care of as you all are.

If possible some of these systems should have their own 9v battery or something stand alone. We replace them once a year. And they should be enough power to open door etc... my AA batteries open electronic locks and close them ... not sure but a thought . It’s just concerning that we have weak link with 12v battery. Even if all the components are eventually fixed we need a diagnostic system that monitors the 12v battery Health snd tells us to replace it before it fails
The thought with the 9v battery is that they're small and readily available. If we keep a jumper battery pack in the frunk, and the car battery dies, we just need a way to get into the frunk. A 9v battery is easy to carry in a pocket, or buy at a store, or maybe even secure inside that bumper compartment.

Well if it doesn't work with 1 9V it could work with two. You can join two together to get 18V out of them.

Of course not sure if 18V is too much for those terminals either.

Never turn down a free ST.
Unfortunately I have no interest in driving a fossilmobile, regardless of spec. I sincerely hope dealers don't keep trying to get Mach-E owners into ICE loaners, that will be a quick way to get owners upset about the downgrade.

Fossil fuels allowed the experimentation, excavation, and motivation to get these beautiful BEV's and entire industries to mature. C'mon, why do we fail to appreciate the advances enabled by last generation fuel or technology! Why do we forget the fantastic contributions of previous advances whether by things or people for that matter? Let's pause and thank the hell out of the Fossil fuels for powering the planes, and Tanks, and ships the stopped an Evil Nazi Fuhrer from finishing his conquering of Europe. Transition with respect and appreciation for what came before to give birth to the after.

You might be disappointed then.
I buy Ford products every year.....sometimes 3 or 4 Mach-E's worth. Nobody there owes me anything. It is just business.

Different story with my dealer though. If I call, they better answer that phone. :)
