Leaving a generic title so we can post anything related to the FordPass App. If it gets to crazy we can always break it down.

So, FordPass for iOS was updated to version 3.17.0.
Did they really remove any indication that the car is charging? The only way to get this information is to go to Vehicle— manage EV — manage Charging.
Really???
It’s so much better to leave this indication in the main screen, next tô the batter level. :-(

I couldn’t get the trip planner to work. It keeps popping out an error message.
“No vehicle signal record”.

That is weird, while I never actually executed a trip planner, I was able to simulate and see the route it suggested.

Agreed, charging status should be right there on the main screen. I've had trouble with DCFC stations shutting off mid-charge. It's great to just look and see if charging is going on. Under Manage EV it would be nice to get real stats on % and kWh charged and current charging rate.

The Android App updated the other day as well. The first day after the update my charging status went away, and had to go through the menu to find it, But the next day its back.

How long into the charging session are you having it stop? Mine has done that twice

That was based on old experience with the Leaf and I think was the fault of the charging stations. I've yet to DCFC my Mach E.

FordPass does not recognize a connected home charger - keeps saying Not connected or something like that even if connected. This happens more when the car has been sleeping and you connect the EVSE for the night but the schedule has not yet begun. . I notice that my EVSE APp says its connected but Fordpass does not update until after the actual schedule kicks in. Its fine if you connect while the car still in a mode where it recognizes the connection and reports it to FordPass, like right away after you turn off the engine.

Another issue with FordPass is its Map. It thinks my house address is several blocks away. So I suppose its best to say its not accurate? Google Maps and Apple Maps have no issues but Ford Pass for some reason either is not updated (it it recognizes the address) or incorrect.

The redesign work needs to STOP. It's terrible that I can no longer see my charge level from the iPhone App (January 22, 2022)

Why can’t you?
I was just missing from my phone, all day Saturday (1/23/2022).

On Sunday, the charging details returned, but the "time on charger" calculation seem be clueless that I had actually unplugged the car and drove it Saturday evening, then plugged back in 18 hours later.

New to Apple here from Android. I can’t see a picture of my vehicle or the charge % anywhere in the app (was on the vehicle tab on android). All I see is mileage and vehicle status no alerts on that screen. Anyone else have this issue or know of a fix for it?

Update: Well, there was an app update today and now I can see the charge %. Woohoo!

Hello MME peeps. I am hoping this thread is still active and the Fordpass app developers are still tuning in to pick up feedback for user improvement. I am in the UK - Scotland so I don't even know if my issues are unique for UK version of the App but I can't find annywhere to share my user experience here. Anyway, here goes...

Charging - It would be great if the user could prioritise charging timescale over the % of charge required. The App always prioritises the % SOC and will frustratingly continue to charge outside your chosen time slot to reach this SOC. In the UK (and I'm guessing globally) energy costs are increasing significantly. I have an energy tariff that is much cheaper over night and allows me to charge between 00:30 and 04:30 at a much cheaper rate (1/3 of the price). I would be happy to schedule charging 2 / 3 time each week, as required to top up, irrespective of the % SOC. Can Ford please give the user the choice - Time Slot or %SOC

This would be a very welcome improvement to the FordPass App.
