I had the same issue. I had to do a full reset and it fixed it.
1)Removed the vehicle from my Ford Pass
2)Removed phone from Sync
3) Remove Profile from car
4)Removed all PAAK keys
5)Rest Ford Pass in the car
6)Master Sync Reset
7)Added new Profile from car (do not do it through the Ford Pass App)
8)Added car back into Ford Pass App
9)Paired phone to car (bluetooth, CarPlay and PAAK)
Tried that today. Didn't work. Sometimes the settings stuck once, but by the 2nd time they're gone again.

I have tried multiple times to put my backup password into my MME. I get to the menu where i can put the password in and it shows the strength of password, but won't let me go to the next step. I entered up to 10 digits--not sure what i am missing about the passcode. Surely it doesn't have to be so strong all four bars are lit up to get to the next step. I need to remember this password!
I did get mine to work, with a fairly weak PIN (I just repeated my oft-used 4-digit PIN to get to 10-digits). It said it was weak (which it was) but it worked.

Without fob or PAAK in range, I got in the door with the 5-digit door code, and started the car on the screen with the 10-digit code.

So I noticed that my heated steering wheel gets hot for like 10 minutes and then goes back to normal but Sync still shows the heated steering wheel as being on. The manual doesn’t really say how long the steering wheel should stay hot. Is this normal operation or another issue?
My 2019 Edge did this. It basically would always show its on, but would turn on for the first 10 or 15 minutes you were driving then stop warming.

Anyone else having an issue with the drivers door not recognizing the key or phone to unlock door/vehicle? I'm able to use either to open the back door but when I push the button on the driver's door I hear it do something but doesn't trigger the unlocking.
I was having a similar issue. Basically, the front passenger door would not unlock or lock from the exterior. I could push the door open button, and I would hear an actuator fire (probably the door kick), but the door wouldn't unlock. Sometimes, if I pushed the door open button on the rear passenger door quickly enough, BOTH would open. The lock button on that same door would not work at all (as well as the driver's door). The car would lock and unlock through all other methods just fine.

Anyways, I took it to the dealer yesterday, and I got to be their guinea pig, since they said that they hadn't serviced any MMEs yet. After doing recall 21B02, they spent almost the entire day on the door locks. According to the dealer there were no service bulletins for the locks, so they were on the phone with Ford most of the day trying to sort it out. Just when I thought I was going to have to leave the car at the dealership overnight, they managed to fix it. It sounded like they had to reboot the system and apply a software update. Hopefully this means that, if anyone else is experiencing a similar problem, they at least have a plan on how to address it.

I was able to get mine fixed at the dealer as well but they said the actuator was just stuck and they were able to get it unstuck, whatever that means. It has been working for 4 days now without issues.

I keep having to press the driver door button 3-4 times to get the door to open. That's with the fob in my pocket. PAAK not even activated. The lights come on while approaching the car like normal, showing its recognizing the fob. And the button lights up. But it often takes multiple pushes.

Got it @JDRGolfer1 . With the Nav on and destination set, there are icons on the left of the screen. The one that looks like a speaker can be toggled on/off just like muting your computer.
I believe we are able to toggle the voice for guidance on and off with the speaker 'button' on the nav screen. I don't believe that will mute the warning message Golfer referenced. For that he could turn the volume down or listen to the message and heed its advice.

I got confused there too, I think it says that it *is* strong enough, and there is another button to continue that wasn't obvious
You need to press the enter button on the keyboard....not entirely obvious. You also need to press enter after actually entering the password to drive. Enter key on the bottom right of the keyboard with the arrow pointing left, that is not the delete key with the arrow pointing left.

Yup. I have only tried rear doors a few times and I think they worked. But usually its no response from the driver's door and I have to use the "unlock" in the app

Has anyone had an issue with mirrors not folding in when locked? I’ve got the setting turned on, but when I lock the car, nothing. Wondering if I’m doing something wrong.
Check that the mirrors aren't popped back too far. I had the same problem, but then I realized that the mirrors had been pushed out during my first carwash and I didn't even notice.

has anyone experienced this? May be its just my ears but I cant seem to tell the difference between propulsion sounds being ON or OFF. In all three modes....I have seen videos where there seems to be difference but I cant tell and I am thinking the propulsion sounds are always ON and unable to be turned off.

When you got this error what was your location (parked etc)?

In your home garage in parking lot etc?

Did you get it while driving?

Noticed it just after I pulled out of a parking garage after getting dinner. It is intermittent.
