What's a vin ? Its been 4 months and I've heard nothing from FORD !

If it has been assigned your dealer has it. It is on the Vehicle Visibility Report.
Ford didn't tell me my VIN until after the car had been built. I knew what it was long before that.

The dealer has to accept the order before it will go any further.

The Vehicle Visibility Report has a lot of information. Ask the dealer for a printout of the section for your car. It sounds like you have an uninformed or lazy salesman.

My salesman emailed me the report any time I asked for it.

My dealer isn't even offering test drives so they can leave their new shiny toy in their showroom. ?????

I wish I could just buy the one in my dealer's showroom (without them marking it up $10K). I'm pretty sure it was the trim I ordered and is even the right color.

Almost time to clock out. Now that the work week is over, it’s 6 weeks until my build week. Grumpy that it is so far away in time. It will probably be 3 or more months until I take delivery.
