When are we going to get some more pictures from inside the factory?

didn't know how much would be different from what "us" as public know compared to what it truly will launch with and be getting aka charge time, range, and hp. Could be increased like tesla later on with over the air updates.

Everything with a computer chip can be updated OTA so the possibilities are almost endless! Even the windshield wipers. Pretty amazing.
One thing I can think of since LR that changed is we did make the glass piano roof slightly darker tinted, what is or will be able in the few months of initial launch we are not allowed to speculate at this time. In the town hall meeting with Dearborn last week, ford has many things planned after the initial launch that will be updated, and info passed back to ford before the launch of the GT.
Can your friend in Cuautitlan provide any estimate of the expected assembly line throughput of Mach Es? That's one of our biggest uncertainties these days in terms of figuring out when we get cars delivered.

This one only required four minutes and 16 seconds for assembly.

estimate of the expected assembly line output of Mach Es? how many can they produce a hour? how long from start to finish does it take one to roll of the end of the line?

16 JPH & once we’re really moving something like 8 hours per shift'

wow only 128 mache in 8 hours slow, 256 a day.

Can’t run all-out till you got somewhere to go. New product, low output..didn’t know demand would be when we laid it all out. Suppliers have to catch up.

i wonder what the true order number is 20,000 or closer to 50,000?

Over 40,000 as right now.

So 256/day, 6 days a week, about 1,500 cars per week.
So maybe ~6000 built by Thanksgiving, which I'm guessing is the rough cut-off for making it to dealer lots for delivery in the US before New Years?

Although some of those could be FCTP demos mixed in.

Have we answered the question of whether or not the registration/order numbers are in fact sequential?

Yes and no. There's clearly some sequential patterns within the blocks of res numbers (which double as the order# in most cases). And in the broader sense they roughly correspond to date reserved. But there's also clearly lots of blocking and skipping involved too. And of course a number of res#'s won't convert to an order.

So for instance, #10010000 is most likely ahead of #10020000. But that doesn't mean they're the 10,000th and 20,000th vehicles in the queue. I'd guess the 10010000 (if a US non-GT) is closer to being more like the 3,000th customer vehicle off the line.

Not knowing how Ford does it, but will there also be batching - meaning like trims/options be made together, regardless of where the res/order # is in the queue - so in your example, someone with a higher # could see their car earlier if it is batched together with a bunch of low order # but same trim/option...right?

Batching, if it occurs, will likely not be large enough batches for someone to notice in their delivery time. (Disclaimer: I know nothing)

I'm only guessing here too, but... it likely depends on what defines the batch. (And now I'm talking ORDER batch, which is different than the reservation number blocking).

For instance, US deliveries (or maybe North America - not sure if Canada/Mexico are included in US timing or not) were moved ahead of Europe deliveries (at least in the early going, due to COVID delay reshuffling). So a 10,000 US res# is likely in a production batch ahead of a 9,000 Europe res#. And of course all GT res#'s are in a later batch in 2021.

Many think FEs define the first batch, while others think it may be a combination of FEs and Premiums+Rte-1's mixed in the first batch. Colors clearly don't matter as we see different colors interspersed throughout the same assembly line for pretty much all vehicles.

Whether they'll batch FE separately from Premium and Rte-1 (and Select) is anybody's guess. Same with AWD vs RWD, ER vs SR, etc. Just don't know.

Over 50K now Dearborn confirmed orders we were approaching . It’s now a LG chem battery supply chain issue

do the batteries come together ready to install or have to put together there in the packs?

We build the battery here.

so are the first mache all going to the first edition are they going to make some premium mache at the start also

First Editions will ship first. After that, it’s all order schedule.
Just send me your VIN when you get it

when will i get that

October most likely
Maybe November

you guys have alot going on not going to be many delivered before December i bet.

First cars start shipping late November according to plan should get 10,000 done before end of year.
