Anyone else finding themselves running out of good reviews and videos to read and watch while waiting for delivery? I've started digging into too many bad reviews/complaints and now I'm both grumpy my car isn't here yet and also preemptively having some buyer's remorse fearing things like too much bounciness.

Cmon Ford, bring me my car so I can stop finding faults!

Chin up, Veronica. A lot of the bad press is from people who are not really car reviewers. The only fault I see right now is the stinking wait. ?

Just called my dealer since I am in an information black hole to see if I could get any information on my order. I was told to call back on Monday because they only get updates on Mondays. A little grumpy that I can only get an update on a Monday.

Each dealer has a person called an inventory manager who tracks orders... They may do this work on different days.

Heh, most of the Poodles I know are a bit analytical. ? I'm just a bit grouchier (I get pissed when a bird is missed!).

Okay, I stand corrected, I still have some grumpiness. PPI won't be done until Monday at the earliest, so no GT for me. I'm still going down there today to see it and sign the paperwork though.

Well, a little less grumpy. The buying experience went well even if I didn't get to walk out with the GT itself today. I did get to see and touch my car (yay!) and confirm it actually exists. Really just putting this out there as a counter-point to all the dealer horror stories I've seen on this forum.

Sat down to go over the deal sheet, they had everything very clearly lined out. No attempt at ADM, we had discussed this very early in the ordering process. They had a line item for their standard accessory package on there (the usual undercoating, etc.) which I politely declined and there was no argument, it was immediately crossed out. Very reasonable doc fees, no other weirdness. Offered me the extended warranty, no problem when I declined it. I had set up approval through a local credit union for my financing left after my trade-in, so they were able to just get in their system and pull the approval digitally. Had my paperwork ready within 15 minutes, all of the numbers lined up, signed and was done.

Anyway, there are dealers out there that aren't a total shitshow, I was dreading possibly spending hours on the paperwork since I know how that can go and it was smooth sailing. Looking forward to driving it out of there ASAP.

EDIT: One thing I did have to do was remind them about was my deposit, and once we verified the original $500 on my order was charged directly from the dealership on my credit card, they ran my card to refund it back on that same credit card.

I reserved mine 11/6/2020, and I feel like beside Dave, I might be one of the longest in queue.
I haven’t had anyone to vent my frustrations with.
I honestly think that even though I’m “in production” it won’t be delivered till 22.
I’ll probably see people get there ‘22 model years cars get delivered before I get my 21. :/

Well, time for my post in here. 10/4 production week, showing in production since 10/5, modules up 2 weeks ago and it is still showing in production. Did it fall off the side of the line?
Shows an 11/21 delivery but I'm highly doubting it. Some more transparency would be nice.
