It takes about 45 days. People think it’s shipped via Amtrak but it’s really on a Lionel. Pretty car. I like the red.

How long did it take between the day it was delivered to Voltz Yard and its arrival in New Castle? My order with a 10/8 ship date hasn't shown up at Voltz Yard yet, but I suppose that as long as it leaves Kansas City by 11/10 it could still meet the ETA End Date of 11/18. My dealer is less than 30 miles from the rail yard on Pigeon Point Road in New Castle.

Wow, mine left Voltz on the 20th and it made it to Conway (Pittsburgh, PA) last night (26th). Hope it doesn't take that long to finish the journey to DE.

I’m no longer listed in a rail car on a KCS train. I’m in now listed in a convoy from a Mexican trucking company. The VVR doesn’t state the last position as the plant anymore at least. So Ford appears to be abandoning the idea of every car going through Kansas City; with the northeast shipments getting a ship and this order for Florida getting trucked in.

This is apparently well-known, but the shipping from Mexico to KC is done via Kansas City Southern de Mexico ( Home Page | Kansas City Southern | US & Cross-border Railroad (kcsouthern.com) ), but they don't have on-line tracking.

Have you emailed them? I thought I saw someone they emailed them and was able to get the delivery information. Mine shipped October 21 and was given railcar number also starting with AOK so I am guessing it went through the same rail company.

I think mine hit a black hole too. Left KC October 12th. Every single other car ordered at the dealer, even ones shipped 12 days after mine, have arrived. All I am told is that it is in Portland. Its been there for 11 days. Dealer has no info on it (or won't tell me even if they do).

Doesn't help that they called me today and said it was in and then 3 hours they called back and said it was a mistake, it was someone else's. Now their GM wants to cancel my reservation because he doesn't want a negative survey. Ridiculous.
