As someone who is also coming from a GTI, I can totally understand your urgency given your situation. Mine is a lease that is up in February (I intend to buy out the lease and then resell the car for more than the residual value). If I'm still waiting for my car that was produced in October of 2021 in February of 2022......

Where is the date you’re looking at on the window sticker?

Below and on the right side of where it says "SPECIAL ORDER"

I am holding out hope that all model year 2021s will (gasp) actually be delivered in calendar year 2021. I think Ford will get it done, either by making ritual sacrifices of EcoSports to the supply chain gods or more traditional methods.

Actually, that's not the date I was referring to. I have a separate date in the white border area around the window sticker at the bottom of the page (slightly to the left of the box pictured above). It just reads "10/26/2021" - Nothing to indicate what it means. My "special order" date, the one in the picture above, is 10/08/2021, which I think is around when I started seeing my window sticker.

Interesting, you're probably right that the date I circled is when the window sticker was created. I first found my window sticker around that time.

so i noticed on my order on the Vehicle Order tracking page and also on the Vin lookup page (not the seg.fiy one) that I have 10/27/21 listed in production. It didn't show anything like that before... so I guess thats progress? lol

@ElectrifyCLT I received the same useless email that you did.

I just called Ford customer service and the guy told me the following:

- My car entered production on October 7
- For some reason (he doesn't know) the Mach E's are taking 20-30 days to build.
- He estimates my car should ship 7 days from now.

I waited on hold for around 8 minutes to get this update. And while I'm not sure how much stock I put into all of it, it was at least nice to have a human provide me with some additional information.

He didn't know what he was talking about when he said 20-30 days to build (maybe from scratch). My production week of 10/11 started production on 10/16, was built by 10/19 and shipped on 10/21. ETA 11/29-12/5, so based on your start of production, you should a week or so ahead of me.

Ha! My wife is going from a GTI to the Mach E as well. Funny thing is we're going to a Mach E after getting through the baby years with our little guy. We were always impressed with how much stuff we can shove in a GTI. Served us well. In saying that, we're eager for a bit more space. We're already making frunk plans. ?

Bravo! I love my GTI, will miss its stick shift. But with a pup, golf clubs, and kids in our near future, it wasn’t going to hold up.

I was originally going to preempt dad life and go full on Yukon Diesel. But my wife vetoed and said she wanted one more fun car in our lives. And that’s landed us where we are today with our GT on order.

You and I are on the same schedule, Willis. I now have a production date of today as well as est. delivery date of 12/19. This tells me they are about 2 weeks delayed, as my orig build date was 10/14. This is progress, indeed. 10/11 build gang is finally starting to see some movement in numbers!

I just got an email from Ford:

"Fantastic news! Your 2021 Mustang Mach-E Premium has been built – which means it won’t be long before you’re able to experience the thrill of driving!"

The estimated delivery window is now 12/3-12/9. The shipped bullet isn't filled it though.

I think the shipped bullet stays white. That’s how it is on mine, supposedly shipped on 10/19.

So I actually printed out the window sticker when I first got the update so I actually have 2 copies. I noticed the white border of my first sticker said 10/8/21 and the current one I just viewed shows a date of 10/26/21 for mine. My "Special order" date is listed as 10 07 21

I had a production week of 10/4/21 then I got moved to 10/11/21. According to my dealer my car build date was 10/24/21 (still skeptical).

Its alot of information, but if ford isn't gonna give me proper updates then this is all I'm doing to keep sane LOL

Mine is listed both on seg.fyi As ETA end date and on shop.ford tracker as estimated delivery date (scroll down to vehicle details).
