I'm sorry, all us undelivered are done. Ford announced a recall this morning till at least Jan 3rd. Dealer won't sell us it with a recall and there's no fix atm

Wow…that sucks. So sorry to all who won’t be able to take delivery of theirs because of this. I dodged a major bullet by getting mine 2 days ago.

If your MME is at or near the dealer, ask your salesperson to run your VIN against this recall. Not all vehicles built in this window are affected, it seems. I spoke to my rep a couple hours ago and our VIN is not on the list. There may be others here in the 10/18 group who are cleared for delivery.

Ordered on April 4th, built in mid October, and finally arrived and delivered yesterday. It is going to take a while before I figure everything out, but thanks to this forum, I have some of the best resources possible. I didn't think this day would ever come. Oh the stress! My dealer honored the X-Plan, but managed to upsell me on the Ford Platinum extended warranty. I hope I never need to use it, but...

I also got the "Finish your purchase" email this morning. It was at Muncie on Dec 2.
I called the dealer and they are checking to see whether they have it or if it is still at Mira Loma.

It took 4 days after that same email for mine to arrive in Temecula.

Westward Bay Area railcar Update - Finally on the way -Moving through Wyoming. There were no changes in the location report since 12/12, a week ago, and the ETA at the terminal was slipping day by day from 12/15 to 12/23 as of yesterday.
Today the location sounded like departing Wichian? at 12:29, then Spear at 1:13 - but clearly I hear Wyoming - after a week in Nebraska - likely due to weather. The ETA at terminal slipped a day to 12/24. I have dreams of seatbelt bolts dancing in my head. I know there are likely other MMEs in this Railcar and on this train. I'll post again when the report gets to UTAH, Nevada, CA or if I can make out a location clearly. I have taken to saying I have three 'pieces of equipment' to trace and repeating CNA 712351 three times - it is quicker getting to another report when I don't understand the readback.
Edit for an Update - Laramie at 4:02 PM, Rawlins at 10:10 PM - Same ETA. Progress!

This last minute recall JUST as our cars have been delivered to Wilmington DE here on the East Coast is an absolute nightmare. Was getting ready to take delivery next week, and now this. My modules turned on somewhere around 11/18 - the last date of that freaking date range of vehicles involved. So incredibly frustrated and angry about this.

Saw some anecdotal comments about some cars in the date range not impacted - has anyone successfully found out about their VIN?

I was expecting my MME next week but it looks like mid to late January as I am thinking the dealers have to wait for parts.

It’s frustrating but is something to look forward to.

I wish I shared your good attitude about this... I guess I ran out of patience - I knew it was going to be a long wait - i.e. 7 months + which it has been...was so looking forward to getting a new car over the holiday break - dream dashed... there's always something. Patience will set back in after a few shots.

Ask the dealership. The recall website doesn't reflect this "recall" yet.

The best way to find out is to ask your dealer. That's how I found out about mine being impacted.

Such an incredible drag; sorry you're in for the extra wait… I bet I’m in the same boat but will find out tomorrow I guess.

I am also waiting for a Rivian R1T or Ford Lightning, which will be years of waiting on top of the 10months I have already waited. Compared to that the 6-7 month wait for a MME is a cake walk.
