New ABRP Feature : Live Data via OBD

I would get the pro version but I think it's too expensive for the number of times I would use it a year. I wanted it so I could see it in Carplay.

Well I guess I'm going pro then, I have a roadtrip coming up where this feature could really help my range anxiety.

You don't need pro for this feature.

If you have pro, you do get more benefit from it though. Pro will log the trip data for you to check later, and it will also include weather and live traffic and live charger availability into the route plan.

It shows up for me in the prod app, but I have their tester role. Until the new version hits, it won't be available to non testers.

The option won't show up until you setup your car as a Mach E.
You should see something similar, and can click that gear icon next to the car profile

Dang, my OBDII module is WiFi, not Bluetooth or BLE. I don't suppose they'd add that capability?

Looks like I will also be giving myself a stocking stuffer.

They have said regular BT may come in the future, but not confirmed yet or any ETA.

The only thing ABRP shows on the screen with AA or CP is the map with directions. It also shows SoC and estimated arrival SoC.

I have it available without an update on Android. It appears it was just an enablement server side. My mistake when I was working with Ben on this previously was that I didn't save the vehicle first. You have to save the vehicle then go into the settings of that saved vehicle.

I opened the app->settings , selected Ford-mache-awd-standard range
didn't see anywhere to save settings, but when I open the app back up, it still has my car settings.

do you need to 'login' , under settings, to fully configure or can you just use the free app without doing anything more?

Yes you have to login and you have to add the MachE and then after you add it you have to pick the option to "Add my Car" which saves it to your profile. Then you'll get the cogwheel icon where you can go into the settings of that vehicle.

It's probably the worst UX implementation I've seen in a while.
