Has anyone played around with this Programmable Feature? I'm wondering if there are any parameters we can change that would make the Qi charger work a little more reliably.

Just don't reconfigure your IPC. If you do then you have to manually pull the as built from Fords servers and flash it to the IPC with FORScan.

Finally got around to attempting this all myself this morning. Luckily my late June build didn't need the IPMA; I'm down to just the APIM and ABS. ABS I've ran twice but it's still there. I assume thats the same bug everyone else is seeing. And APIM I'm trying now but as I'm one of those stuck on 1.7.1 I don't expect much.

For what it's worth my cooling pumps certainly ran for EVERY update. But only the drive train and charger stuff seems to draw over 10 to 17 amps.

APIM failing to update. In particular after creating the USB successfully I follow the instructions to place it in the car (ign on and engine on) and nothing happens. Per the TSB I also tried to close the car door and do this which got the same result, it never sees the USB and starts any update. Is the the same failure mode you others are seeing?

Your downloaded data is probably incomplete/corrupted.

According to that listing and those sizes my USB drive files are accurate. Granted that's per KB and not per byte. I assume you didn't get a better list? I'd really like to hear from one of the others failing to get APIM to take to see if the failure mode is the same or not. My license is good through today and a couple hours tomorrow.

I believe this is the issue dealers were having. If 1.7.1 was stuck, even the normal FDRS update procedure will fail as the module is locked.

It took mine about 5 minutes before I got the update message on the big screen. I did the open\close door a couple of times. It also took 3-4 minutes after the process was complete before I got the remove USB message.

No.

So the price in Europe is quite a bit higher. The 1 year license is 3300 euro !
FDRS is at level 30.5.7 right now.
Does this version still create errors in some updates ?
