Thought that would get your attention! but it is what happened when I took my car into the dealer, before I was getting a range in the region of 240, but as expected this was conservative and I always achieved 10% more. When it came back from the dealer the range jumped to 313 ! But after a few short journeys and one of 78 miles there was a discrepancy of 33 miles I started with a range of 257 so at the end of the journey it should be 179 but in fact it was 146 which means I lost 33 miles or a discrepancy of 43%. MY consumption was 2.8mls/kwh. Thinking the dealer had done a reset to default I charged the car again this time I got 288 at 100% and thought it had readjusted to my diving style so I did the return journey
And exactly the same, the discrepancy was 33 miles over the 78 mile journey and consumption the same 2.8mls/kwh.
So I have now gone from a conservative GOM to and ambitious GOM ... any thoughts

Sorry to burst your bubble. Likely scenario is that they updated something or cleared your driving history which then resets the GOM and shows you more than you'll actually get. Give it a few days and it will be back to what it was. It's not an overnight calculation. Other possibility is that it's warming up where you are and you'll see an increase, or a little of both.

There's no updates available for the MME which increase range (as of 06/06/22).

Before you make that assumption, the OP should check their Frunk.

Maybe the dealer hid an extra battery booster in there. You never know!

What I don’t get is the need to be insulting to other people asking a simple question. To the OP, it could be a variety of factors, but most likely is what DevSecOps mentioned. Factors (not an exhaustive list) including ambient temperature, whether you drive with a lead foot and climate conditions while you were driving that reduced the expected range once your driving history cleared.

OP is in UK so he’s probably talking kilometers although he kept saying miles. My GOM improved about 10% after OTA 2.7.2 installed.

Sorry, Iā€˜ve spent enough time driving in the UK to know that they use ā€œmiles.ā€
