Ok, yes, granted a 5% SOC will result in reduced output, in fact, I believe I’ve found the reduction in power threshold to be at approx. 25-30% based on various Dragy runs at various SOC and ambient temps. That said, the reduction is barely perceptible in the 4X, nothing like GTs get.I disagree I think it will show grey bars its just different. It will show them for other reasons like temperature of battery being too high/low or a low state of charge. At 5% SoC you do not get full power output in the Mach E, not even close. I'm pretty sure we'll see the grey bars for situations like that. Time will tell.
And when I say barely perceptible, I mean a 1/4 mile trap speed of 101.5mph @ 30% SOC vs. 103.4mph @ 85% SOC.
