Well I might not fit what you are looking for as mine isn't brand new (17 months in), but I haven't had any major issues. I do have a cracked windshield, but I'm guessing that was due to the rock that hit it, not an issue with design or build quality..

I traded a 2019 BMW X3 for this and was pretty worried about stepping down from the BMW quality level but it's been completely worth it. It's a solid car, drives beautifully, and I love driving it.
My story as well.

I frequently visit this forum, and constantly, I see cars have bricked, there are recalls that only provide software update but not hardware update, charging issues, and easy damage to body of the car issues… I’m sure there are more issues to list, but this is what came to mind instantly. I even saw someone that said they were backing out of their order because they know that the cars are not being made correctly, thus the recalls and such…
That being said, has there been anyone without issues? I ask because 50K+ is steep for something that doesn’t sound reliable. Every time I get on here, there is a new fear that I could be making a mistake.
Someone please share some good!
50,000 Mach-Es have been sold in the US. ~270 bricked.
50,000 Mach-Es have been sold elsewhere.
This forum has under 13,000 members.
All forums are places where people bitch.
2021 Mach-E was a first year car. All first year cars have issues.

If you are a person that reads things like a person backing out of their order, and that raises fear with you, you shouldn't buy this car.

Maybe you should stop reading the forum?

No issues for me so far (1800 miles) other than the occasional PAAK glitch (which usually is resolved by quitting the Ford Pass app and re-launching it).
I did get a local dealer to install the recall software update last week, too.

A little over a year and 8k in and no major issues. The front end sounds and feels like a box of rocks but it doesn't concern me too much. Haven't had the glass recalls taken care of yet either. I'll get everything taken care of eventually.

My wife's and mine. The only problem so far is my wife's inability to down load 1.7 and beyond... to be fixed in Sept with a module.

Other than that, nada.

The only problems I have had were:

1. FordPass app sucks (would not recognize my email address for PaaK, ut would for everything else).

2. Kick to Open (KtO) lift gate worked great but degraded. Mow it works for less than 5% of my kicks, so I give my car the finger often when I reach to the button.

3. A/C and heat sometimes just come on by themselves. I tend to drive mostly with just the fan on. Sucks to get in the car and get blasted by either hot or cold air When I start it.

All pretty minor. ??

Hi guys,
Git my Poney last November (reserved Januari 2021) and after more than 13000km I only had a few minor glitches almost all corrected by an OTA. The remaing problem is the inconsistent correct positioning of the seat when turning the car on, that's all.

Happy happy happy with my Poney

Do all you people with "no issues" not have the "electrical system drain, see dealer" message daily?

Maybe I expect too much but in 11 months/7k miles:
  1. Paak is super unreliable (unfixed)
  2. The driver's seat is always going to the wrong saved settings, even if only one of my wife or I are present (I can see being confused if both keys are present) (unfixed)
  3. Carplay fails to connect half the time when I get in the car and I have to reboot sync (and android auto wasn't any more reliable before I went iOS) (unfixed)
  4. We lock the car and it decides we didn't and beeps the auto-lock as we walk away (unfixed)
  5. We were stuck pre-1.7.1 for months (fixed after 6+ months)
  6. We had one door that would not unlock if it was the first door hit. Worked fine after any other door unlocked the car. Fixed when we got updates un-stuck, apparently? (fixed after 6+ months)
  7. Glass recall (which the dealer screwed up big time -- 3 weeks out of service for that) (fixed)
  8. 22S41 recall, which I had a dealer appt to install today except oops ford pulled the recall (???) (unfixed)
  9. "Electrical System Drain; see dealer" message basically daily (leave the car sit 12-24 hours seems to trigger it on wake?) (unfixed)
  10. Probably related to 9 -- I can no longer reliably remote start the car. Spins in fordpass, car won't start. If I walk to the car and open it, power it on, power it off, close it and lock it, remote start works perfectly after that (for some amount of time) (unfixed; discovered the "workaround" recently)

The 45,000 owners in NA who aren't on this forum. You have to put things in perspective. A large majority of the people here complaining sit on their front porch every morning complaining about their neighbors too.

Not sure if you missed the original OPs question in the title “ Who IS NOT having problems”. Those sound like a lot of problems.

Have had no major mechanical problems as of yet.

Lock on walk away has failed a few time resulting in me having use the key fob, the the door lock buttons on the pillar where super flaky if they would lock the door hence why I resorted to walk away. Also had a few instances where it would not let me open the drivers door I had to open the rear first.

Thankfully the 21p22 software update fixed all the issues I was having with the doors and they now work as expected and I have not has a problem since. Unless there are some obvious mechanical defects it is typically the software side of things with modern vehicles that will make or break the experience.
