Mucho Grass!!! Thanks for taking the time. Still can't figure out why I am not getting an OTA update notification.

Mike, you had checked my VIN before I took it in to the dealership a few weeks ago to update modules, and checked after the service and got a clean bill of health. This morning I got the icon on the top bar saying an update was made but no information when I clicked details, just pulled up the screen saying no updates available. I have scheduled and automatic updates turned off so I was confused on why it was installed at all. I was wondering if something new now shows on your system.

So, just got my Mach E back from the dealers following the recall update for 21P22 software updates. Of the 22 updates required they were able to do 12 of these that are related to the recall, fair enough for now as they need to bill Ford under the recall. I'm investigating with our lease company if they will pay for the remainder but we'll see...

Following 21P22 should I notice a difference in SYNC? From the screenshot I still have the dashes of old.

Also, @Mike G would you be kind enough to run me an 'after' FDRS screenshot? VIN: WF0TR3SU7MMA05750
And any insight/analysis on the status of the car module, have they done them correctly?

Since the dealer updated things via FDRS, there should be no change in what Sync displays in its info screen. ??

Nothing new showing in FDRS for software updates at the minute. As you know I can't see OTA activity in FDRS.

Nothing stands out from here.

Second, thank you for including that completely brilliant shot of your Sync "About" page because that is the very poster child image of a 'stuck' APIM that will never get another OTA until TSB 22B08/22-2150 are performed to get your system sorted.

Bear in mind that, until they've done one or two of these and are used to it, techs will not be keen (to put it mildly) to perform this procedure. They have to buy USB and Ethernet cabling and adapters (locally, not from Ford) and it can sometimes take several attempts to make a connection successfully. And if they keep trying and are unsuccessful they can end up with a "lock" being placed on that VIN for a period of time by the Ford server. So it's not something they look forward to doing. In any case, that's the problem to overcome for your car from where I sit.

Attached are what I believe to be the latest versions of the procedures to sort that out. 22P08 is sort of a diagnostic that will tell the tech if the problem exists, and 22-2150 is the actual procedure to correct it.

Looking to find out what error codes my car is currently giving off after encountering the "Service vehicle soon" and the Fordpass "Powertrain malfunction / reduced power" message.

I appreciate the time to look this up and help.

You should contact your servicing dealer and ask the service manager or advisor to take a look at your VIN in the PTS dashboard. They can see every DTC your car throws. In near-realtime.

I can't see any DTCs using FDRS unless I'm directly connected to the car.

I appreciate the response. I deleted my post thinking that I could remove it before it actually bothered you (because I just got off the phone with my local dealership and will be meeting with the EV Service Manager to review FDRS with them, which is awesome!).

Thanks for taking a moment and sharing your update, @Mike G !
