Ty again sir for the assist. The dealer stated that part of their process is to make sure alll updates and recalls are applied before delivery... I guess we will see.
Ask for a recheck when you get home.

Hey Mike G, been hearing of a bunch of new updates in the stream. I'm scared to see how many more updates I need. Going to have the car at the dealer in week. Could I trouble you to check my VIN again and see what else I have on the list? 3FMTK3SSXMMA50149

Thanks so much for checking! Looks like I need to do the 21P22 again? All the modules it addressed are back.
Well if you're doing it yourself I guess you would. If the dealer already did it once then that labor funding is gone for your VIN.

It's possible that Ford may once again in the coming year do another round like CSP 21P22 and everybody could go in to get updated. The only OTAs lately are for things that Ford can monetize (like Amazon's Alexa) so they aren't concerned obviously with things like door presenters wearing prematurely, or making sure everybody has the 3rd refresh of the welded contactor recall updates, or the GFM/BCM combo for the Job 1 cars that are missing the frunk functions, or all the cruise control related updates that seemingly every single Job 2 car is showing as available updates.

The only way to stay current is to do it yourself apparently. ?‍♂

EDIT: Oh and for those reading along...program 21G01 BlueCruise has expired. Meaning it will no longer be paid for by Ford to get your vehicle updated.

21G01_is_Expired2.png
Well that's the more likely explanation for 21G01 disappearing, I guess. Of course I got Bluecruise via an OTA months ago so hopefully that doesn't matter for me.

Looks like 21P22 should knock off 11 out of those 16. The only one I really care about that's not covered is GFM -for the remote Frunk capability.

21P22 was a great update! A huge improvement. Well worth the visit to the dealer. Too bad there isn’t an easier way to update these modules at home.

New the to forum… found this thread while searching some minor issues with my MME.

I originally thought everything in the vehicle could be updated OTA. However, I’m now understanding that’s not true.

I’m preparing to take my MME to the dealer for service. Can someone here please share the open updates for my vehicle?

VIN: 3FMTK3SUOMMA42823

Thanks in advance for the assistance!

It would appear that either your 22S41 recall was done by an OTA or the software was applied at the plant. Some OTAs don't show the notes for very long.

Here's the currently available updates:
WF0TR1RM8NMA20964-13-Sep-22.png

I would recommend you ask for the OBCC to be updated to avoid charging errors. You're about 3 versions behind on that one.

And check to see if your iPhone is charging properly or just getting very warm. If so that's what the WACM update is for. (no OTA for this)

If you're experiencing insufficient cabin heat or a fogged windscreen at times...that's the HVAC update. (no OTA for this)
Hi Mike

Sorry to be a pain.. Just wondered if you would mind doing a recheck for me if you had a spare minute at all? Basically, the car is booked in on Oct 11th. According to the dealer, the recall is outstanding and needs to be done, but apparently there are no other updates available except for the recall.. I have explained that I cannot charge my phone wirelessly without overheating, and the fogging windscreen issue.. Also, I've had a notification this morning at the top of the infotainment screen indicating a successful update, but no alerts/messages indicating what this was, nor did I get the 24hr incoming update warning..

Appreciated but no worries if you're too busy!

Please tell your service writer that you'd like CSP 21P22 performed. It's an open field service action for your VIN. It should take care of many, but not all, of these updates. BlueCruise program has expired now (as of the 3rd).

I hope you can impress on them the importance of updating that gateway (GWM) while your car is in the shop. It's the key to all the other modules working together correctly. As an example, if they try to update that BCM, but they don't update the GWM first, they may get a 'file security error' when trying to do the BCM. So fair warning.

The door modules showed up in the last two weeks I think. They were updated to prevent excessive wear by making it so that the 'door presenters' solenoids don't activate when a passenger uses the inside door handle. They will just activate when someone presses the outside door button from now on. Previously they were working with the inside mechanical door handle which isn't necessary for the doors to work.

Hey Mike G or anyone else that is willing to help. Dealer is an hour away. Picking up this afternoon. Want to make sure they took care of the updates as they assured me they would. Thanks for the help.

There are zero session logs showing that any programming took place. Your car has no history showing in FDRS at all.

Thanks Mike greatly appreciated!

I actually think I must have one of the fist of the Job 2 cars… sadly my vehicle was not delivered until 5 months after the initial build (mid December ‘21). My MME came with no frunk dividers, electronic opening of frunk, BlueCruise, and a physical button for traction control.

Hi Mike.

I'm hoping the last service visit 2wks ago got every module updated! I'm getting the front camera fault/pre-collision not available/Adaptive Cruise not available screen messages again. Can you pull all DTCs on my MME too?
Thanks sooo much!
