Because Ford started out calling it a Front Trunk and then later changed it to Frunk. If I remember correctly, the 2022 order guide even listed a change of "delete Front Trunk" and add "Frunk". I guess they haven't bothered to go back and change it on earlier cars.

They can't change it on earlier cars, those cars got a front trunk, not a frunk.
