I just got this from Ford Chat:

"I show your 2022 Mustang Mach-e - VIN 3FMTK3SU1NMA50172 is In Transit. The vehicle location is Ramp 6U, Muncie, KS. The estimated arrival date to the dealer is Nov-29-2022. The Railcar # is KCS 008283 (Kansas City Southern Railway Co )."

Perhaps there is hope for those of us in the West after all?

My chat update suggests I have moved off 6R finally as well, also coming to Denver:

"Your vehicle is in transit with the reported location as Muncie, KS as of October 31, 2022. The ETA is showing November 29th to the dealer. Railcar # KCS 008116 (Kansas City Southern Railway Co)."

From my understanding, once in Muncie the cars are offloaded and swapped to a new company to come to Denver, likely Union Pacific?

Oh wow yours is coming really soon! Mine is saying 11/29...originally was supposed to be the second week of October. Im just glad it seems like its going to be this year at this point!

When I called Union Pacific, it had the exact same departure time. @csilvest had the same info as me, though different railcars, with an arrival of 11/7 at 4 AM (we assume to SLC). He gets the VinView daily updates - hopefully it will show a location west of Muncie. Also Ford chat yesterday said "shipped Rail from Muncie, KS on 10/31." Lots of assumptions, but fingers crossed that we'll be out of the state of Kansas soon.

I'm one of those that probably has a car on that train. So far, I haven't seen any indication that it's moving/left Muncie through either Union Pacific tracking (last checked about an hour ago) or VINView. Probably takes awhile to get everything loaded up in the proper places.

For clarity, it doesn't look like VINView updates are daily - I've only gotten one update in about 3 days so far. Yeah they are real time updates it seems like, I got 4 in the last 24hrs one with each move and one with the damage identified, which was in mexico so not sure what that was about

I did some notations re: 6R based on the last few pages of this thread, but I'm not going back further in the thread to search it all down. So happy to see many in 6R saw movement yesterday. Hopefully that means more got moved and you just can't see it yet.

So what this little tracking list experiment has verified is that build order doesn't particularly matter. And getting stuck at 6R sucks. And maybe that western shipments are particularly dicey on timeframes.

You should probably request the new tracker info from him, they can send you the location and picture. Also maybe contact ford chat, they can tell you if its being held or something

Checked Union Pacific tracking a few minutes ago and there has been a status change - "train departure 11/2 8:30a". Same ETA of 11/7 at 4a (to SLC). Looks like it's on it's way.

No update yet from VINView.
