If your fluids aren't low, it sounds like a problem with your HVAC system getting too cold somewhere, similar to how a home A/C evaporator can frost up if it doesn't get enough airlfow. Maybe check your cabin air filter isn't blocked with leaves or something. I believe you can access it behind the glove box.

It could also be a problem with the A/C running constantly trying to cool the battery or powered electronics because they are overheating due to some other problem.

Under the car is a diaper. As others have noted, it collects water from rain, car washes, and snow (which then melts). This creates a mess.

I don't believe it collects water from the A/C, I think that just drains through a hole. Therefore, if you don't have rain, snow, or carwash in your recent experience, something is wrong if you're squeegeeing the floor.

Something is wrong. Tell your dealer you need them to resolve it or bring Ford technicians in to help. Too many persons give wise ass answers. That’s not helpful and if it was them it wouldn’t be acceptable.

I couldn’t imagine what else it would be besides rain or condensation. I have a theory about aftermarket cabin filter that could be restricting airflow.

So I’ve had my 22 Mach E for a week. Woke up the last two days to find a puddle of water that could fill a 5 gallon bucket on the garage floor. Outside temp is around 40 degrees so obviously not using AC. A Ford tech checked it out and after removing the frunk determined that condensation had built up on the coils and will continue to do so whether you’re using the heater or air conditioner. I could see the white film on multiple areas. I joked with the tech that I probably should stay warm with the seat and steering wheel heater instead, he agreed. This was a lot of water! Had to use a squeegee broom to push it out of garage. So my question is, every time I use the heater or AC the water is gonna run over all these components, will it damage these areas over time?Corrosion? There’s already white residue everywhere after a week! Seems to me that Ford should have placed insulation on these hoses. What about long term? Anyone else have this issue?

The 'belly pan' can catch and drain a huge amount of water, rain, slush.... and the Frunk drains right down over all that stuff.... If you went wild washing things down with soap, it could well drain over hoses and leave a residue.

If you have had no outside precipitation, and no big 'wash days', I don't know what could leak any significant amount of water.

That seems strange. If it was really humid, the car will probably be running the defroster (AC compressor) even though the heat is on, which will undoubtedly generate condensation. But I can't say I've ever seen that, or at least noticed it, in my 1.8 years of ownership.
I had that same thing happen to me also but since I turned off the a/c on the touch screen it stopped.. That is only in the winter.

Well, got some good news and some bad news. The good news is the Mach E
is not leaking water. The bad news is the electrician who put in our 250 volt
outlet for our charger hit a pipe in our basement wall and hence the water leaking through to the garage floor. Yahoo!?

Jeezes! Water and 240 are not a good mix! But at least you caught it quickly. I'd definitely get a new electrician though (after working with their insurance on a fix). Not only did they drill through a pipe, they didn't notice when they did.

At least you figured out what it was!

For future owners searching this, not sure why there are so many ā€œsomething is wrong, take it to the dealerā€ people.

Where exactly do people think a bunch of water would come from in our cars? Condensation or rain. It’s not like we have a giant water tank that could leak. Any other leaks wouldn’t be water (washer fluid, radiator etc).

Probably an easier fix than if it were something with the car. Hopefully his insurance covers the repair.

PS….I was right about having a leak. ?

I’m really paranoid when drilling/screwing into studs, especially with the plastic pex water lines. A nicked romex would be a pain too, unlike a pipe you can’t just fix it and patch the wall. I always stick a flex cam in the wall and take a look around before lol.

Sounds like a similar situation I had at my last house. Hired electricians to install a new panel and a generator hook up. All was fine when I left them to go to the store. As I’m driving back to the house, I see both guys strolling up the street about 3 houses away. ā€œWhat gives?ā€ They had a minor incident - the guy driving a new grounding rod outside the house never bothered to check for, oh, I dunno, a gas line maybe. He hit it. Within five minutes, there were trucks, fire trucks, police, inspectors everywhere. He was probably lucky he didn’t blow himself up.
