11/7/22 Build Week Thread for 2023 MME's

We should be on the same train, my car will also be delivered to Henderson. I am planning on having my dealer look up the UP railcar # next week Tues or Weds. Hopefully, we can track via the UP tracker then. Though once it gets the UP railcar # it should only be a few days.

Cool. I'll be trying to get the car number as well. What dealer did you order the car through? We're working with Schomp Ford.

Just an update..

Yesterday, I got an email from Ford.com saying my delivery date is 12/9/2022 - 12/15/2022

Last night I didn't, but this morning I have a tear tag.

https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking is showing nothing -- "This vehicle is not yet available in order tracking at this time, please check back later"

Ford Pass app now shows more data, but still won't let me active.

Just thought I'd share an update.

Through Ford Chat, I got an update that my order is now "Received". This means the vehicle has been received by a carrier at a ramp location in Richards-gebaur, MO.

A few days ago, they told me it was in Laredo, TX.

It has been radio silence since then with an ETA of 11/27-12/03

Got status Update today from Ford Chat, with Location of my MME PRE EAWD at
11/27/22 - Ramp 6R, Richards-gebaur, MO

Still they say ETA as 11/27-12/03

It is good to see that a lot of cars have made it to Richards Gebaur, Kansas City, MO. My understanding is that from there the next step will be to start the journey to our respective dealerships; so individual updates will now very.

Just confirmed with FC that mine is also at ramp 6R. My last update a week ago was still in Mexico, so this is great news! Anyone have a sense of how we track from here? I have been trying not to bother my dealer yet since delivery estimate is almost a month from now, but probably time to do that soon.

Since that date no updates have come through and Ford Chat still hasn’t provided any location of my car

I have Rail Car #
Ramp #
Any ideas/suggestions?

Since you have a rail car number, I would call the 3 railroad tracking numbers (CSX, UP, NS) to see which if any give you details. My railcar is traveling UP, but NS is actually the one consistently updating for me.

The issue with the location provided by FC is that it seems to only get updated at the beginning and end of these rail routes, which often takes days to weeks. FC has told me I'm in Laredo, TX, since 11/19, but I've been getting updates by calling NS, and have been consistently trekking, first up to Fort Worth, now all the way over to El Paso. So I don't think FC will give me an updated location until my rail car reaches its destination. (This is my first time tracking a car, so take everything I say with a huge grain of salt.)

Well NS is showing up as a September Update ??‍ that doesn’t work for me unfortunately

Eventually the no status line (CSX) game me an empty and release time and date in MO. Now I'm not sure what happens next going to Chicago area. I would assume another train to somewhere near the city and then a transport after that???

I am. I got my railcar # by persistently direct messaging ford chat until one of them gave it to me. Most of them gave me nothing other than "it's in transit" and sometimes they would say the location (MX or TX). But one person gave me a train car number. I had to specifically ask for it.
