How long is it taking to build? My order tracking shows in production on 11/24. No tear tag on Ford service yet

It just depends. I was 289 in batch 9511 and mine has already been built and shipped. Sometimes the tracker is a bit laggy to update as well.

Have you tried contacting your dealer to get information? Most of the time they have the most up to date info. Even more than Ford customer service.

Modules popped today! Says in production yesterday 11/28, but I've been checking on a daily basis and there was nothing there yesterday.

4/3/22 MY22 Select AWD order. Converted to MY23 on 8/26 and changed to Vapor Blue Metallic.

All done! I had a “shipped” email waiting for me when I woke up. ETA still says between 12/22-28. It’s going to be super close!!

The Mach E is an SUV and MSRP < $80,000 should not be a problem.
Income <$150,000 single filer. That's pretty generous.

Battery manufactured and assembled in North America, probably qualifies. Has anyone followed the battery manufacturing discussion on the Mach E? I think the battery is LG Chem based on what I googled. With potentially the 2023 Select trims transitioning to Lithium Iron Phosphate via CATL in 2023.

LG Chem has plants in Michigan and addresses in Atlanta. There's a good chance at least half of the tax credit for 2023 remains. Possibly all of it, depending on where LG Chem is sourcing raw minerals.

CATL though.. I don't think they have a currently operating north American plant. Google says they are considering building something with Ford for Mach E Select trim and Lightning 2024 models.

While a guarantee of the Tax Credit is always better than digging in the weeds, I think there's a better shot now after reading the available information to have the Mach E still available for credits in 2023 especially against TESLA. It's all a purchasing strategy game. Just assumptions at this point.. But jumping completely assuming the complete $7500 is going away may not be completely true as it sits today either.

Honestly, that letter doesn't mean much. I got a similar email right after mine changed to built status. Shipped that day as well.

Called them today. Said it has been built but not shipped.

Just finished chatting with Ford.…. My ETA is now 12/25-12/31 (pushed back from 12/19 - 12./25)

Hoping it gets here way sooner. According to the rep its at a train terminal 3 hours south of me!

Cars in our build week might still be on rails, and not on their truck journey yet. But has anyone had success tracking on palsapp? Yes you have to use F12 on your keyboard in chrome and unblock the hidden to show the VIN search. Just don't know if that's still accessible.

Looks like it might be, yet I haven't seen anyone talk about tracking the trucks recently.

Just got off the line with Ford chat and they said I still have an ETA between 12/24 and 12/30. When I asked for rail car info this is what he said. I don't know what it means but I thought I would pass it along.
