I’m a Rookie, what this mean lol @Mike G ?
Well I don't know how long you've had this car or if you're the original owner, but I would bet that BlueCruise hasn't been activated and if I had to guess I'd also say that you haven't gotten any OTA updates in quite a while.

In fact I've just run your VIN in ETIS and it says you are eligible to get BlueCruise programmed for free at the dealer.

I'd schedule an appointment to get that done and maybe they'll be able to sort out why you're not getting OTA updates at the same time. Your APIM (Sync) module software is a very old revision.

Everything you just said is 100% right. I bought the car used last month and I’ve connected to my Wi-Fi and haven’t been able to get OTA updates. I did notice that Blue Cruise was not activated on my car so I have an appointment scheduled on the 22nd of this month for them to do that. Do I tell them can they check other updates too or when they do the blues cruise update they will notice that? Or shouldI just tell them I’m not getting updates? @Mike G

Well book it in for the BlueCruise, the extra keyfob, and the HVAC update. Those are all freebies. If you play the sympathy card saying you just got the car and you've noticed several things aren't working right they may do all the other updates as well.

In the process of trying to do your BlueCruise updates they will run into problems because it looks like you have an issue with a module or two that won't update, or has corrupted data. Not sure I'd mention that to them, but be prepared for your car to be in the shop longer than they said it would (unless the tech is really good and has seen this before). Regardless, this is something that has to get sorted by somebody eventually.

Once these issues get straightened out though you should start getting updates OTA.

We are about to pick up our car from the dealer after having them install Blue Cruise (never came OTA). It took them 4 days to install it as apparently it kept failing and they had to contact the Ford Engineering hotline. If someone could run our VIN that would be so helpful and give insight if something may still need updating (they were supposed to do the HVAC update as well). The VIN is 3FMTK2R74MMA10144.

Thank you in advance!!!

First post to the forum ? but anticipate posting further as I've been a wallflower for the past year.

Just had 21P22 done a little over a week ago, there were two other programs/updates along with 21P22 listed on EITS. Dealer did it free of charge despite being past the time they can bill Ford for it since the they rescheduled my appointment which was originally in October.

Anyways, all the other updates no longer show in EITS, but 21P22 still shows up. I'm concerned the dealer said he did it but didn't actually do it. Mind checking my VIN @Mike G ?

VIN: 3FMTK1RM1MMA44025

I appreciate the help and commentary!

Cheers

8 Feb '21 build date, Job 1 car.

So that's interesting...I thought when BC programming was being performed that you were supposed to do the GWM (gateway) module updates everytime they came up...and not leave any.

14 Jul '21 build date, Job 2 car.

And that explains why they didn't do your cruise related modules (Job 2 car).

But yes, on the 9th they did do all modules that were a part of the CSP 21P22 programming list. No idea why it still shows in ETIS except to say that I know many people who had the 22S41 recall done were still seeing it in their ETIS field service action list for three weeks afterwards.

Mike,

Thank you for running the VIN. Picked up the car and BC seems to be working as I did get a message that I was in a zone on the trip home. Didn't actually engage it as I need to reset all of our settings as everything seems to have been wiped out (did get a message on the first day that Ford Pass had been disconnected). Here is a picture of the invoice and the notes on it:

I have a feeling they just wanted to get it out of there hands. Will need to go back and get up to date on the other updates mentioned that don't appear to have been done and see if I need to follow up on them. I am hoping that at least the OTA's will start to come more frequently now that we have gotten past the BC updates at least.
