Good afternoon,
I just took delivery of my Mach-E on Saturday, and I had a few questions maybe someone can possubly answer for me, or point me in a direction.
My MME is a Standard Range AWD, Garage kept (Temp Set 55°F steady) but my range is 140 Miles at full charge, which is roughly 84 miles short of the EPA estimated range of 224 for the Standard Range AWD.. also to mention, I have not moved the vehicle or altered the environment so it is safe to assume the vehicle entirely is matching the temperature of the surroundings (55°F).
Surely I don't think it being 15°F under the preffered operating temp of 70°F would account for the nearly 84 mile loss of range.
While waiting for Delivery, it sat at the train port for roughly 5-6 months at an unknown battery level. Could my battery health be damaged? I would think the chances are low, but they aren't zero.
Thanks!
