11/28/22 Build Week Gang

Mine is still in Kansas City. Been there since 12/19. Anyone else still stuck in KC? ETA is 2/05-2/15 so hopefully that is the case.

Mine was in KC for a while, original delivery was 1/8-1/14. Then it changed to 2/23-2/28. Dealer called today and said it’s now in Delaware but delivery is still 2/23-2/28. Delaware to MD ~5 weeks? They say they can’t get trucks.

I couldn’t get bluecruise to work even though the hands free option is in settings and enabled. Looks like I have to wait 2 weeks then can’t believe I miss it

Try pulling fuse 21 for 10 min, then put back in. Inside the fuse panel below the glove box. Worked for mine and many others.

- 2 weeks from built to KC Railyard
- 7.5 weeks from KC railyard to current ETA

So 22.5 weeks from order to delivery if it were to arrive by current ETA. I don't have much faith it will arrive by then though due to all the repeated pushes to that date but when ordered Ford estimated 18-24 weeks I believe so still within that window. I do know that this delay is much less than those who ordered last year had to deal with though. But frustrating when you see deliveries being made for vehicles made in the same week.

But I also know...first world problems so will wait it out more and see what transpires next before I give up.

OMG, same issues with delivery on my order.

Priority 1 build was great with super quick production.

Now I am getting worried with the logistics / transport side.

Delivery ETA slipped 3 times and now at end of the month.

Wonder if it will slip even further...

Not sure if it will get delivered by March when the IRS rules on the battery.

Did yours come with the summer tires?

My sales guy said the GT, select, and he thinks the Route 1 come with summer tires, but the premium AWD comes with all weather. I know you got the GT, but was just curious. How did they do in the snow? We get a decent amount of snow in Black Forest and I’m trying to figure out if/how soon I need to replace the tires.

My sales guy said the GT, select, and he thinks the Route 1 come with summer tires, but the premium AWD comes with all weather. I know you got the GT, but was just curious. They should be all weather... I will check. Dealer said all weather at the time.
Roads were pretty clear coming home last night. Street has a lot of packed snow ice still and it ate that up okay (not that I gunned it!). I am thinking of getting snow tires for next year.

Dude, so much congrats.

I'm still waiting. Mine is within driving distance, and it's been waiting for a last mile truck ride to the dealer for the last 2 weeks...sigh

Looks like Continental CrossContact RX... 245/45/R20... Tire Rack lists them as Crossover/SUV touring all season.
Drove it for a morning commute today. Like a champ.

Sweet! I’m guessing they’re the OE tires mentioned in this Tire Rack review: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testDisplay.jsp?ttid=299, in which case I’ll probably just keep them on there until they wear out and then replace them with the Michelin CrossClimate2 (we have these on our AWD Sienna and really like them)

I’m really glad you’re enjoying the car! I for sure loved driving it when we did our test drive back in August, and I am excited for that to be my every day reality… eventually ?
