If you bought an extended warranty who did you buy it from? And how much did it cost you? Been searching and looks like floodfordesp.com is the cheapest.

Granger Ford, 8 yrs, 100k, PremiumCare, $100 deductible with Lights, $1600. 21 Select AWD.

Note: We do plan on keeping this car past 2030, if we got new cars every few years I would not have bought the extended, but we like to keep cars as long as they still fit our needs.

If you ever have to replace the center console alone, you're going to pay more than you would for the warranty. It's practically a no-brainer for cars that are all electronic components.

If it were a "no brainer", then the warranty company will soon be going broke.

And if that happens, good luck with your warranty on a bankrupt company.

It is an insurance plan. More times than not, you will be financially better off to not purchasing it. If one can't afford a "failed part", then by all means go for it. If you can take the financial hit so to speak, odds are in your favor that you will be better off by not purchasing it and taking that risk.

Btw, I have many electronic components i.e. computers etc. and I have never purchase extended warranties on anything and I am way better off. If that part is going to go bad, it most likely will happen within a few days/weeks.

For example, I purchased a new modem and it went bad 1 month into it. I took it back 3x, yes 3x and I finally got a "good one". The place that I purchased it (Best Buy) honored it a total of 3 times taking it back and never asked questions. They wanted to know if I wanted to buy the extended warranty and I passed on it. Quite frankly, I don't recall anything that I have owned that would have needed the extended warranty. I have saved literally 10 of thousands of dollars by not purchasing them.

I bought from Granger 96/60,000, $100 deductible in July of '22. Did not get light coverage. Paid $795.

Yes, and for the first time ever. I have no idea, given how new all of this is, how it's all going to age & wear. So like all insurance products, I'll probably never use it, but in this single case I'm happy I did.

I did not buy a warranty because I am averaging about 6months-1year of ownership on each car I buy, but If I was keeping my Mach E beyond warranty I'd 100% buy an extended warranty.
Floodford is an option
Grangers and you can also buy extended warranty online through Ford.
If you are in California, you can't buy from all of the above, you must buy it through a dealer with a license to operate in the state.

What does the Glass and lights cover? Would that cover the headlights? I heard they are expensive to replace. I didn't see an option for those will have to look again.

It only shows up after you select your plan, length and deductible, no glass I was mistaken

I purchased a used 21 with 26k on it and then purchase the Premiumcare for 9yr/125,000 for approximately $2000, which is backdated to the original date of sale, effectively giving me 7yr/100,000 for a two year old mach e.
