I get the comment there are a few free chargepoints that charge @~7kw/hr I have parked over night at. Chargepoint works just inconvenient and slower.
Again, Chargepoint is simply an equipment provider. The owner of the location decides how fast a charger to install and how much to charge. Here is a Chargepoint at a car dealer I used once because it was convenient and fast (fastest one in the immediate area). It was the most I’ve ever paid to charge.

EA owns their network, determines the pricing, and is responsible for maintenance.
EA has a commercial division that will set up and maintain chargers for commercial enterprises, similar to ChargePoint. I just charged my Rivian at an Arizona Public Service charging site in Prescott, AZ this weekend. They are the Signet EA chargers and I initiated the charge from the EA app. The chargers are painted blue and have the APS logo on them.

The Ford dealer chargers are coming by Jan 1st. They will be open 7AM - 8PM, Monday through Saturday.
My dealer is Toycen Ford in Chippewa Falls, WI. They have started construction of two chargers that will be ready by January and are not enclosed. Don’t know if they will have designated hours of operation.

When we purchased our MME last month, the internet sales manager we worked with drove the car to a L3 charger at a nearby Kohl’s parking lot while we dealt with the finance guy. ??‍♂

The big three are Tesla, Rivian and Lucid now. New kids on the block.
Taking this further off-topic ....

(reference https://insideevs.com/news/667516/us-electric-car-sales-2023q1/)
First quarter 2023 Rivian sold 7134 vehicles, Lucid 1739. While Tesla is top-selling EV, the next five manufacturers each has an established ICE business.

Transitioning an OEM from ICE to BEV is hard (but the companies have established business to lean on during the transition), creating a start-up to build vehicles is harder.

Will Rivian, Lucid, Polestar, VinFast, Fisker survive in the US? Even if each has good products, I expect not all will exist in 2030. Which of them might thrive a la Tesla? Which might be acquired by companies with deeper pockets? Which could merge? Which will fold? Will any company founders end up following John DeLorean's example?

TBH, I'd be more concerned about the US legacies. My personal view (having been in and around the auto industry for 23 years) is that in a stable environment there is enough demand for 2 domestic auto companies operating profitably and at scale through the cycle (with Chrysler barely surviving and always on life support). Tesla gets one of these seats. It's a tossup if any of the other legacies can get the second one or perhaps the domestic industry dominates to create room for a third. Only time will tell.

Soon, many dealerships will feature dcfc stations. Part of the agreement Ford forced upon the dealerships.
Does anyone know if there is a list of the dealers who have signed that agreement? I am considering switching dealers for my service to one that is at least trying to improve its EV game.

2 weeks into my lease on a Mach E Premium, AWD extended battery. Coming from a plug-in hybrid EV charging isn't a new concept for me.

When I look at the Ford charging network I see very few charging Ford Dealership as charging sites. If Ford has the free 250 kw credit for EVgo why are there not 2 at every Ford Dealership. Right now my choice are grocery stores which usually do not have open spots to charge.

Just asking for future use...I do have l2 charge point at home but need to upgrade to a 60 Amp circuit breaker and put in a new panel/meter.
Agreed!

I work directly across the street from a Ford Dealership. It grinds my gears that I am unable to use the charger while at work.

There is no public list, no. Just over 1,900 have signed up, or about 2/3.

Just to let you know Ford dealers are not prioritizing chargers:

When I picked up my MME last month, the dealer has 3 L2 chargers (service, delivery and customer area).
Only 1 worked,
My salesperson was running around trying to figure out why my PDI MME was not charging.
Don't know when Ford dealers will actually fork out tons of money to upgrade their chargers.

Regarding EA - Ford has partnered with already a bad reputation for non working chargers; they now have contracts to allow free charging with: Mercedes, Audi, BMW, VW, GM, Ford, and others.

I have not gone back to an EA charger and won't be using the free 250kW connected charge because the lines to charge is ridiculous.

EVGo has not partnered with any manufacturer and thus no line.

I charge on EVGo's network now:

Technically, Toyota and Subaru partnered with EVgo, but that's only a few thousand bZ4Xs and probably a similar number of Solterras. Oh, and the Lexus RZ. That's why you still aren't seeing a line at EVgo. However if you ever see a bZ4X or Solterra at EVgo, expect it to be there a while.

Related question: chargers at other car brand dealerships, i.e. Nissan dealerships, seem to show up in the Blue Oval charge network when I search. Are we allowed/entitled to use those?

You can look up any charger on PlugShare. There are settings in the car to show chargers that are, and are not, in the network.

Many dealers don't care who charges. Some turn them off at night. Others won't let you charge there if you don't have their brand, and some others unless you're a customer.

A dealership nearby welcomes anyone to charge, but you may not leave the premises, i.e. can't park it and go shopping.

The Ford dealer chargers are coming by Jan 1st. They will be open 7AM - 8PM, Monday through Saturday.
I would be curious to see how many are actually being installed? Our local dealer did not opt in so no way for me to monitor (next nearest is 350 miles away.) My curiosity is that utility transformers can be up to 2 - 3 years out now so just wondering how many Ford dealers actually get their DCFC sites installed. Here in Alaska there certainly will be no NEVI installations this year but hopefully next year but I also wonder if there may also be delays in that program due to transformer availability.

When I picked up my Mach-e from Galpin Ford the sales person told me that I could use the DCFC across the street at their Volvo/Polstar delarship. They have 3 but I have never used them. I was back at their Ford dealership about 2 weeks ago and while there was no sign of any DCFC chargers I did get to use one of their 5 L2 chargers for about 90 minutes. BTW - They had a bunch of Mach-e and Escape PHEV on the lot if anyone is looking to buy.

This is a local Chevy Dealership. for over a month they had these 2 ICE cars blocking the charger.
PlugShare shows they are open, and one Tesla was able to move into the side and just get the cable over to plug in but when I try with my Mach-E it was about 6 inches too short to reach.
(I did a chat with the dealership about it but unless I was plan on buying a car they could care less)
