Hello there - Could someone give me a report on what updates I am missing for my GT as I am headed to the dealership next week.

3FMTK4SEXMME01710
2021 Mach-E GT

Also, does anyone know if this is a "Job 1" car as I think this was one of the first GTs off the line in 2021.

Thank you!
I don’t currently have an active FDRS license but all GTs were Job 2 cars in 2021. ??

My vehicle is in for service and the dealership said it was ready.
If you could please run a check to make sure all updates have been completed.

Thank you!

No GTs were Job 1. All GT production started with Job 2 cars on or about 7 July '21. There may be a few exceptional vehicles produced within a couple of days before/after that date but it is generally accepted that 7 July was the start of Job 2 production. One additional definitive clue is that if you had working BlueCruise Hands-Free and the ability to open your frunk from FP at delivery, then you have a Job 2 car (assuming it's not a base Select with no options).

Your build date is 25 Aug '21.

VIN checks are only performed if you state who you main in Overwatch, sorry. You'll be judged on your response. /s

You're also using the wrong logo. That's for OW1, it's time to update.

17 Apr '23 build date.

Am I to understand that you are buying this car and haven't taken possession yet?

Here's the list of currently available updates:

I would just wait till I got the car and make sure to properly set the "Check Updates" schedule in Sync for everyday at a time that is about 15-20 minutes into your normal commute time. That's the best way to get OTAs.

Yes. Understandable.

It might take 24 hours after you've successfully setup your update schedule for anything at all to appear. It is likely (more than likely actually) that the gateway update will be the first update you see.

Since the car has been sitting at a dealership I would urge you to perform the quick and simple procedure for resetting the learned values in the 12V battery management system.

Do this before your next drive.

I just noticed that you've left the update time at 0100. That's not ideal given that the 12V battery state of charge can easily be below the necessary 80% by that time. Again, I recommend setting the check time to about 15-20 minutes into your normal commute to ensure your 12V battery is back to being fully charged when the check happens, and you'll also probably be in an area of good AT&T cell coverage so your TCU won't have any problems doing the check or downloading the update. Cars do not get updates from your home Wi-Fi, even though Ford still says to connect up at home. That's not how updates happen.

Wow great info thank you so much! I work from home, so no commute at all. I'll be sure to not connect to home wifi until I get the update. I would have connected otherwise. Already did the 12v charge reset and had the battery blink.

@Mikeg Wondering what your or others on this forum thoughts would be on a fair price to update my GT with the above updated IF they state they want to charge me? Any idea if these updates are fairly quick and can be done in a few hours of labor? Just trying to be prepared for my visit in case they say they charge for these updates.

Also, it is safe to assume that "all" of these pending updates will be patched/updated at some point via OTA if I waited long enough or have you seen some updates that Ford isnt addressing via OTA?

Thanks again
