Has anyone noticed this feature not working after the latest radio preset update? I’ve cleaned all the cameras and sensors and still getting this message. Bluescruise still works, but not adaptive speed sign reading. Stopped working immediately after this update.

Silly question: did you check to see if the adaptive cruise setting is still set to on in the settings menu on the screen?

Speed Limit sign recognition sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure it ever worked that well. Probably best to just disable and pretend like nothing ever happened.

I did. It selected on. I thought of that after cleaning haha.

Mine popped that message this morning also, but it still was working despite the message.

Works flawlessly IME when there are no obstructions to the sign.

I stopped using it months ago because it kept picking up speed limit signs on parallel streets. And speed limit signs via a faulty GPS position, which resulted in phantom breaking. And, I don't consistently drive a certain speed over the speed limit so it was useless to me anyway.

Out of the blue mine started today with the same issue. I have used the intelligent cruise control all the time, and while it sometimes has created small issues, I like it. No big deal to turn it off, however, I like features in a car, that I paid for, to work.
I also know that my dealer will have no clue what to do to fix this. I do NOT want to leave my car there for 2 weeks for them to research and investigate. What are your suggestions? Wait a few weeks and see if Ford comes up with a fix?

I wonder if this is that issue where the camera's wiring can end up pinched and cause intermittent issues.

I've had this update installed and not seen this issue before or after.

You're not missing anything. It isn't buggy per se, but defaults to the (usually wrong) speed in the built in navigation maps if there are no posted speed limits, fails to read the sign (does this on the road I live on because of where they placed the sign), or you pass into another segment of the road and it reverts to the mapped speed instead of the last signed speed limit. You can submit corrections to Here Maps, but there is no apparent

Also notorious for reading signs on adjacent roads and ramps. There is no mechanism for the driver to reject a dramatic decrease in speed due to this, or the other problems listed above. After I figured out why it was dropping the cruise from 55 to 25 on the highway I drive to/from work, I turned the "feature" off.

Mine is also not working correctly. And it's definitely a software issue and not a camera issue, as my dash still says the speed limit and it updates as the speed limit changes. The other odd thing is that it's not consistent for me - most of the time it works but occasionally I'll turn it on and get the not working message. When this happens, it doesn't work again until I park and turn off the car, wait a minute, and then turn it back on.

FYI to all those being like "it annoys me so why don't you just turn it off", you're missing the point. The point is the feature is suddenly bugging out where it wasn't before. And whether or not you personally want to use it, some of us find the feature useful, and would like @Ford Motor Company to look into why it's suddenly not working.

This. One update (can't remember which one) turned that feature off. I went into the settings and turned it back on again.
