The NACS adapter thing is great. By thing I mean the adapter itself and the Blue Oval Network software updates. However, the warm weather driving season is coming up quickly. Any updates on BC Ford?

My wife no longer believes we are getting the Blue cruise update. I would really love it as I am hoping for an improved drive on I 81. My car jumps out of blue cruise so much it is almost not worth trying. Also there is a small window in PA before PennDOT brings all their cones, signs and barriers out of storag.

I was planning a road trip in late Feb and I decided to update my 2021 Job 1 to the latest available firmware via FDRS. Two of the updates (IPMA and PSCM) were BC related. We then drove 650+ miles in CA (almost exclusively on Interstates) and have to say the difference between BC 1.0 and whatever the latest firmware does was very positive. Much longer intervals without having to take over control, and the previous tendency to drift to the right side of the lane was largely fixed. Anywhere that the right lane markers were missing (we spent a lot of time in the slow lane) it might not center correctly, but overall a much better experience. Perhaps updates to the CCM and CMR modules would have made everything even better.

I have noticed to too, but I was afraid it was my imagination! Dive to right is reduced, it tends to follow a single line better (i.e. it doesn't follow the off ramp line like it used to), and seems to stay engaged for longer periods of time. But, my wife does call me an optimist, so there's that...

I drive a 2022 Mach E Premium and still haven’t received a Blue Cruise update for lane changing. Thankfully got the Tesla Charging update last week, but this blue cruise update is ridiculous. Promised late summer 2023 and it’s now March 2024. Crickets….

It will get here when it gets here, I guess. I do think it is odd that the updates to make NACS charging work are coming out rather quickly, now @Ford Motor Company, since you’ve proven that the OTA system is working, can you push the think you promised your customers 6 months ago?

I called the Ford OTA team and I was told we can expect it (1.4) OTA mid-march.

judging from @Mach-E VLOG and others' reviews, the differences between 1.0 and even 1.2 were pretty huge. every time i hear someone complaining about BC it comes down to 1.0 gripes that are fixed in 1.2+.

i can't imagine the frustration of the ford BC ADAS team not being able to get their latest version out for everyone via OTA. huge miss.

I really do enjoy BC 1.0 when I actually use it. 100% the gripes I have with it sound like they're all fixed in the latest versions. Hugging the right side of the lane, being too close to semi-trucks, lane changes, unexpected disengagements around turns, etc are all supposedly improved or resolved.

C'mon @Ford Motor Company, can we get an update for the updates?

what you have to do to get BC1.4 (and Tesla dongles) is to have a Youtube channel! Once you have a Youtube channel you are all set. You will have gotten BC1.4 in December and the dongle in February. It's magic!
