Ran all the SW updates last week in FDRS and today I get 6.14 OTA. Curious if any other updates suddenly appeared or if 6.14 is OTA exclusive.

Can someone see if I'm still call caught up on updates? Thanks!

Give me a bit to look into it. Does your bluecruise work?

Edit: FDRS is showing a GWM update available. Once you do that one, it will release more updates for that module, the APIM, TCU and/or IPC. You need to keep doing those until your Sync version gets to 23291. If you get stuck at some point before you are able to get to Sync 23291, message me to see if I can help.

I'm sure I'm behind, but I'm curious just how far behind. I've got a power supply (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ER3LH1G?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and a laptop but I haven't bought the adapter yet. Wondering if it's worth dropping the $500 for the adapter. How often people are using it after the push to catch up.

There's a Chinese version for the dongle called VNCI VCM3 which seems to be < $150. I'm using VCM2 and it looks good on me. Also, for power supply it seems like 30A is sufficient enough so the total setup should be a lot affordable than that.

The IPMA programming specifically, can run that requirement up to almost 40A. Just so you're aware.

I thought you knew that. They used the nuke option last Saturday to code everybody's car with that message. Expected fix is sometime toward the middle of this month (ostensibly).

I would start with the GWM, then APIM, (and see if another GWM, or APIM, or TCU pops up) and then move on to the IPC, the CMR, then the IPMA/PSCM combo, and end with the GFM.

On the Lightning, I'd start with the GWM (and then see if another pops up) and then move on to the powertrain (pick the PCM and everything else follows in a scripted sequence), and then go for the door modules and the BCM that just showed up for everybody two days ago. That's pretty much the sequence based on when these were all released, so you can't get into any dependency trouble with that sequence.

I had 23s56 and Csp 23b50 done at the end of march. The hvbjb recall cleared shortly after, but the charge cord stuck is still showing. I called my service advisor and he said it should clear but that sometimes it’s very slow. I’m aware of the recent stops on the service actions so possibly that’s the issue? 23B50 for the stuck charge cord was a powertrain update.

On the 9th of March your car got OTA 24-PU0102-CHG-SUFX which was an update to the powertrain modules.

In FDRS when the techs did your HVJB later in the month....no powertrain updates were performed because the instructions say to update powertrain modules. But if there aren't any updates available...then you're done. Since you had just gotten the powertrain OTA, you likely didn't have anything to update.

So, we now have a 'freeze' on powertrain updates for at least the next couple of weeks. I would say that if you are having issues with 1PD dropping off...or unexpected drive mode switching (like from Unbridle to Engage, etc.) then you do have the latest powertrain updates. And if these things aren't happening to you, then you may not have the most current powertrain updates, and should be happy that you dodged a bullet.

It's possible that the service advisor just hasn't submitted the ticket to close 23B50 out....

I've received a lot of the priority updates but no APIM updates. Can someone look to see if there's a GWM update in FDRS that could potentially unblock me? I am trying to decide if it's worth a license.

Would it be possible to get info on my VIN? It was with the dealer for some other stuff, but apparently, @avdonr was able to see that they were performing a bunch of updates. I just received a text from them saying that my car is ready, and I'm curious what was done. I had ordered and just received everything to play with FDRS myself, but now I may wait.
