Thanks Mike G for the very comprehensive details on the VIN. Been pondering my next moves to get the MME current on all functional areas. I've a firmware/hardware engineer type of many year. In my world down-level code is not ideal, when an issue appears, Support/Development usually advise next step is "update".Your car is about two revs behind on Sync. Not too bad.
You still have a TCU update available to apply even though it looks like the tech did update the GWM, APIM, and TCU multiple times (the last times being the 9th of July).
I believe there are some dependencies at work here and you're not going to get totally caught up until other things like the powertrain updates and other stuff like the cruise control related modules and really everything else are brought up current. They can't just focus on getting your APIM (Sync) to the most current level...it doesn't work that way.
But the problem is...and it's been said many times before, Ford aren't paying the dealer techs to get cars and trucks 'caught up'. They are paying them to do updates under warranty when one of those updates would solve a problem the owner is having with their vehicle.

It has been brought up before somewhere else on this forum but I'm curious to know how they got away with selling a GT-PE with summer tires that are clearly not rated for the well-below zero temps that you would expect to experience where you live. On another forum a tech took pictures of a GT-PE customer's tires that were all cracked and he was asking about warranty replacement. Given the location of this car the answer came back that it was doubtful that they would be replaced under warranty due to this verbiage in the owner's manual:

As you noted, the Ford dealer won't take this on unless I can identify an issue related to a missing update & I'm not going to make up stuff. As you documented the last dealer update of "GWM, APIM, and TCU multiple times" which you noted via FDRS (?), took the Ford technician 7.5hrs. My wife not happy with me on that update, as she lost the more functional user interface as the horizontal rectanglar buttons were dumbed down to a square button version with less functionality.
The way forward for me now looking as FDRS license, Mongoose-Plus, PL6100 then I can update the 2022 GT P. & our 2024 Lincoln GT. Plus any neighbours vechiles in an "update party". Perhaps all costs buried as an Early Xmas present for the Wife? Ha-ha.
PS: The Summer Tires, for Winter time, will buy four new 20" rims, TPMS + Michelin winter tires. 1st dealer quote CAD$3,300 + 13%.
