I'm currently in a stalemate with service after my OTA failed in April of this year... No one has been able to fix it and my service tech doesn't know the meaning of telling me "I'll check on it and call you back."

I have no idea how many updates I'm missing and I think my UI is even outdated based on conversations I've had with Ford Customer Service

A couple of things I noticed...that available gateway update is the -FAR revision...that's the one that was causing lockouts...and yesterday -FAT came out as a result.

You may not have an OTA historydue to the 'Fleet Authorized' TCU modem. Normally it only says Retail Authorized after the car is sold. Fleet Authorized seems to keep OTAs from showing up for some people, although some Ford helpdesk people have said otherwise.

And now that you have a GT-PE with Magnaride shocks you get the more or less permanent VDM DTC like the rest of us. Congrats! It is apparently harmless but it's just a DTC that's.....always there.

I had to go over to the dealer yesterday after a phone call about something else. On the phone, I was trying to explain the "Fleet Authorized" modem thing to clueless dealership people. Trying to avoid the usual service manager nonsense about making an appointment to bring the car in. I really have no idea how to have the discussion on that.

Anyway, on my way there, I checked for Software Updates and saw that the car had installed ECG-24.2.4.10 a few days ago (Fleet didn't stop it?). I didn't get any notice that this happened, either in the car or in FordPass. However, I started seeing an anomaly on Sept 2 which should have led me to look at updates. While driving on a highway, I got a warning in the IPC to "Keep your hands on the wheel" - both hands were on the wheel at the time. I gripped tighter and it went away. Following day, same warning, not on a highway, going about 40 mph. So, new feature?

OTA history is kept in PTS for 60-90 days at a time, so neither they nor we can see which update it was that failed. However, you car on Sync 23291 which is not too old and not showing many updates pending. Yes, you are missing one APIM update that will give you the new UI, but you have no pending updates for the APIM, GWM or TCU which means Ford has not released that update for your VIN yet and there is nothing the dealer can do to apply it even if they wanted to.

Not sure why the modem was showing it was in fleet mode before, but it is showing correct now and I am able to pull all connected data with no issues, so everything seems fine.

As far as whether this GWM was the "good or bad" one, I have no idea. I was not aware that there was a GWM causing problems.

Per Mike G, the -FAR version was the bad one and caused lots of 12V/lockout problems. -FAS was the fix, maybe -FAT is available now as well?

Ah, that's right. I don't have an EV, so these EV specific issues don't live in my head like they do for you guys. I don't blame you......that issue was a bad one. Looks like you're on FAR now.

No other GWM update is showing pending for you at this time.

Edit: FDRS may show more than PTS does, but PTS has been pretty accurate lately. I don't have access to FDRS until later on to check.

well, low and behold, she set up to have the Mach-E software updated tomorrow, without me reminding her. I think I'll keep her, lol.

If you're saying you're stuck on 4.2.4 because that is what you see on your touchscreen, then disregard that. Your car is on Sync 23291 which is the one that came with OTA 6.3.0 (if I remember correctly). Looking through vehicle history, a dealer did a bunch of updates toward the end of August, so they did many of the updates you were missing. You even have the latest IPMA software that comes with the new BC 1.3 update. You are not as far behind as you think.

Modules still pending updates are below.

Yes, but you're not going to like it. Assuming you already have a windows based laptop, you'll need +/- $800 worth of equipment to use FDRS to do them yourself. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of the OTA gods deeming you worthy of an update.

However, in your case, I don't think it's worth the investment if all you want are the pending updates. IMO? There is nothing on that list that warrants the expense. The updates you need to update to the latest Sync version that gives you the new UI are not showing for your car yet.
