Hi,
So you expect this updates will activate Blue Cruise?
is there a specific sequence to follow?
Or just from the top to bottoming the list?
My apologies....just saw this. Your case may require a bit of work. Your car is a 2021, and you are showing pending updates, but based on the software level of the modules relevant for BC to work, it should be working. What makes your case difficult to diagnose is that your car is a euro spec vehicle, so the config needed for BC to work may differ from what I know to work for US spec cars. If you are willing to put in a little work, I'd be happy to help, but I cannot promise I can get it working. I have been able to get some European cars to get their BC fixed, but not others.

You would need to have FORScan and I would need the VIN of another Mach E in Belgium with working BC so I can compare the config on that vehicle to yours and troubleshoot.

Yours is a 2021 and the other car is a 2023, but both similar cars with tech pack. However, @florky car is fully updated. Both of your CCM's are at the AL strategy, but the other ADAS modules are not:

Your car: Other car:

IPC = AB AF
CMR = XL CE
IPMA = ABS BAE
SCCM = BA AA

I do not know on the Mach E just by looking at this if these modules are updated enough for BC to work. Your car is a Job 1 Mach E that shipped with the prep package, so your car did not have BC when it left the factory and was dependent on the OTA process to get it. I believe it is just config on this line needed to get your BC working because your car is getting updates and shows you are on Sync 23291 which is not old at all. Get yourself a FORScan adapter and make the following change:

706-01-01

xxx4 xxxx 28--

The worse that can happen is it doesn't work and you change it back to what is there now. Best case scenario, your BC will work.

Here's the list of available updates showing in FDRS for your car:
WF0TK3SU1NMA00758-17-Oct-24.jpg

Your car most recently tried to update the ACM (radio) module via OTA, and that failed because of the state of charge of your 12V battery. And when I checked it today, it says it's only at 62%. This is not your HV battery we're talking about, but your 12V battery. So either your 12V battery is going bad or it needs to be charged up properly (or both?).

You might try resetting the Battery Management System learned values before you take it for a drive the next time to see if that will get it back up above the 80% minimum required for an OTA to work.

Get in the car and press the Start button without putting your foot on the brake pedal.

Flash the high beams 5 times, and then press the brake pedal 3 times and watch the instrument panel for the red battery indicator to flash 3 times.

Press the Start button to turn the car completely off.

Then start the car as you normally would and go for a drive that's at least a half hour. Longer is preferable.
Hi Mike

Can you please take another look at my VIN? WFOTK3SU1NMA00758

The battery problem disappeared after I followed your instructions, and the update completed. It seems the low level was caused by lack of usage, the car was just sitting in the dealer's parking waiting to be sold.

They said they updated everything but one guy from there said that there was only an ABS update available so can you please check again? I have a feeling that I'll have to start updating the car myself.

Thanks

Hi @Mike G,

if possible, could you again please check my VIN: WF0TK1E78NMA09192

I am getting my car to my dealer to touch 24B42 (1PD - powertrain modules) and 24B60 (brake performance - ABS?) and want to know whether there is anything else I could/should discuss with them.

Thank you so much in advance.

They updated the powertrain modules on the 23rd. That's it.

Here's the rest of the available software updates:

Actually, all you have showing at the moment are the powertrain updates that will be updated by 24B42, and the BCM. They could knock all of those out in under a half hour.

Nice ! Thanks very much for replying …

‘as for my issue, the main screen , totally randomly , without anything on the road like a bump or something , goes dark , music/radio shut down and then the animation start over and everything reappear , which is totally crazy especially when looking the gps on where to turn … it last less than a minute , but within that period of time screen is just black.
So everything has been updated so far at the dealer last Thursday/Friday as confirmed by MikeG and one of the main bug is still there :( screen reboot….
Any additional ideas ? Would a factory reset might force any pending OTA (as I read somewhere here that it’s not updating at dealer via fdrs?)

1FMWK8GC7SGA16284 - Congrats on the new ST. Whoever did the PDI didn't check the tire pressures and lower them from the shipping setting to normal. They are about 10psi high right now. Just so you know.

If your APIM (Sync screen) is rebooting it's entirely possible you have a bad APIM module.

The service shop should diagnose this for you and order a replacement. Make sure you take a cell phone video when this happens so that they can see what it's doing.
