Forcing me into a glass roof. The GT should have weight reducing options, not weight-adding ones. ??
This is such a missed opportunity for them. There are SO MANY ways the GT could be a better car as a real performance variant.

In this case, it doesn't even need to be carbon or something exotic. Just steel. And make things like customizable drive settings a GT-only feature. And add a GT button on the steering wheel (or maybe just a "pony button" with the Mustang logo) to either change drive modes or activate a customized setting or even more simply just activate a GT mode with all of the sportiest settings and traction control off, etc.

It's like there's just barely any thought into making it unique... beyond the brakes, seats, and magneride - which you can barely even take advantage of.

I couldn't care less about Apple Car Play. However, Android Auto is a requirement. Also, real buttons. The Mach-E needs more buttons, but the ones it does have actuate and are not capacitive. I have no interest in capacitive buttons.

  1. Wireless Android Auto. Has to be wireless now.
  2. Phone key
  3. 360-degree surround camera
  4. Top safety features (blind spot alert, rear cross traffic alert)
I know you only asked for one. Sue me!

We can do more than one?
  • Required:
    • Android Auto
    • Adaptive Cruise
    • 360 camera for parking (front and rear minimum)
  • I would REALLY miss:
    • Blue Cruise
    • Lane Centering
    • Blind Spot Monitoring
    • Reading of speed signs
    • Glass Roof
    • Bad Ass Looks
    • Mustang Puddle Lights

What I’m attempting to figure out with this “thought experiment” is: what is the tipping point? We know Ford has been decontenting the vehicle. I’m sure there’s some method to it. But there will come a point in that decontenting process where they pull one too many things and the vehicle is no longer desirable. That’s why I asked people to try to limit their responses to one item (it was tough for me too. I went with the large screen because I find it very valuable and it’s pretty unique in the segment).

You can't determine a tipping point, unless you know the order in which features will be removed.

Example: I could live without either wireless android auto or 360-degree camera, but I could not live without both. Which of the two features is my tipping point?

And herein is one of the many problem manufacturers have. I abhor buttons. The car has just enough as is. One more, in my opinion, is 1 too many.

Smaller than 99 kWh battery.
Removal of BC/Lane-centering.

Ford lost their shirts putting such a large battery but it's why I keep the MME over the better/quieter/smoother Ioniq 5. With DC charging being such a clusterfudge in FL, a larger battery is much welcome.

I totally changed my mind after more thought. The one thing that would 1000% make me never look at the Mach-E again is if Ford removed the IPC and relied solely on the center screen for all info, A la Tesla.
Yeah, that's what wrote the 3/Y off of my list when I was looking at cars. ??

Have you seen it in person? It’s actually more subtle than it looks in pictures. It’s one of the reasons I was adamant I didn’t want the Rally until I saw it. It’s the best riding version of the Mach E by far.
Yes, I would like one without the wing. I have not seen it in person so I will not say never but I doubtful. My Options will come due in 16 months so I have some time still.
