There are numerous threads along the lines of “what features do you wish the Mustang Mach-E had”.

This one is the inverse. What current (and this includes features that have been decontented over the years such as metal scuff plates, door presenters, large frunk and so on) that, if Ford removed, would be a deal-breaker and absolutely send you to another brand?

oh, and making the vehicle ICE doesn’t count ?

It’s tough to come up with one deal-breaker, but I’d have to say the large sync screen. If Ford replaced that with a small screen or something else inferior, that would likely be the straw that sends me elsewhere.

Lane centering! Bluecruise, I‘ve only used once, lane centering is more important the older you get, plus the distraction needed to do anything on the center screen, the lane centering has been very useful.
I would not have bought my Mach-e the first time if it wasn’t available.

About the center screen, the controls that are used most often , seat heat steering wheel heat, climate control , should be at the top of the screen! That way you don’t have as much of a distraction looking away from the road!

Forcing me into a glass roof. The GT should have weight reducing options, not weight-adding ones. ??

I would much prefer the 12" screen in my F150 be available in my Mach-E.

Sure, it would be less Tesla Me-too impressive, but functionally, I find the 12" so much easier to live with. And the bonus would be traditional HVAC controls.

I can't think of anything that Ford would actually de-content from the Mach-E that would be a deal killer. I mean I too wouldn't purchase a Mach-E without Adaptive Cruise and Lane Centering, but I just don't see that being unavailable.

If the Rally wing became standard on all models. - deal breaker!
Have you seen it in person? It’s actually more subtle than it looks in pictures. It’s one of the reasons I was adamant I didn’t want the Rally until I saw it. It’s the best riding version of the Mach E by far.

Everything mine’s got!

The deal for a new replacement at 40mths and 100,000 miles was broken when the Volkswagen/Ford Explorer & Capri don’t have the froot, other so-called like for like Mach-e don’t have the kickyopoentailgate and other features so decided to keep Stangy, so we’re 101,300 miles and going for broke.

God, how I love my Stang

I mean, one feature? I’ve probably got closer to a dozen.
  • Apple CarPlay
  • ACC/LC
  • Large display with backup camera
  • IPC
  • 300mi highway range
  • 10%-90% charge in under 20min
  • 0-60 in under 5 seconds
  • Frunk
  • SUV/CUV form
  • Not ugly
  • Under $60k
I’m not buying a new car if it’s missing even one of these things. I’ll just hang onto my paid-off 2021 until this is available.

Glass roof should be an option. I like it but why should everyone have to have it?

Hmm... Having a difficult time coming up with just one thing. I'm disappointed in what Ford's already decontend over the life of the Mach-E, but no individual removed feature, so far, would stop me from buying another.

It's hard to imagine any car maker axing a safety feature, so it would have to be something comfort related. More than likely, It'd be the accumulation of removed features, and use of cheaper materials/components that'll ultimately be the deal breaker for me.

If I had to choose just one, I'd go with heated seats. Not even necessarily the removal of the feature entirely, but even if they hid it behind a subscription paywall. Not that it's a feature I use daily, but that would signal to me that Ford had truly lost its way.
