Screen size. Hands down.

Agreed. We have a 12” F-150 along with our Mach-E, the vertical screen in the Sync 4A Ford EVs has a less less intuitive layout than the Sync 4 horizontal layout, plus I don’t like that the screen on the Mach-E extends above and below the dash, both aesthetically but also because I can totally see at least a few people will break them eventually. Plus, the vertical layout makes buttons impossible, and I prefer the climate controls in physical buttons. (as an aside, I do wish the F-150 vent selector button in my 2022 Lariat actually cycled the vents and didn’t just bring up a pop up on the screen…that’s a minor software change, Ford).I would much prefer the 12" screen in my F150 be available in my Mach-E.
Sure, it would be less Tesla Me-too impressive, but functionally, I find the 12" so much easier to live with. And the bonus would be traditional HVAC controls.
I can't think of anything that Ford would actually de-content from the Mach-E that would be a deal killer. I mean I too wouldn't purchase a Mach-E without Adaptive Cruise and Lane Centering, but I just don't see that being unavailable.
I agree with this. If they get rid of the small screen and copied tesla, i would not get one. I do wish we had a h.u.d. though. My cx5 has one and it is so nice.I totally changed my mind after more thought. The one thing that would 1000% make me never look at the Mach-E again is if Ford removed the IPC and relied solely on the center screen for all info, A la Tesla.
But please Ford, let us split the screen. Why do I need a full screen that size that only displays 1 thing at a time.Screen size. Hands down.
Totally agree. I wouldn’t want the one large screen approach.I agree with this. If they get rid of the small screen and copied tesla, i would not get one. I do wish we had a h.u.d. though. My cx5 has one and it is so nice.
Also, if I was forced to do 1 pedal drive, I wouldn't. I like the options.
My lease will be up July 29, 2027. CHARGING SPEED will be an important factor as I choose what to replace it with. I love my 2024 Premium 4-xt but we won’t take a trip to any of our normal destinations because of the time it will take to recharge three or more times on the way. That said, it’s been an OUTSTANDING solution for our day-to-day use. There are numerous threads along the lines of “what features do you wish the Mustang Mach-E had”.
This one is the inverse. What current (and this includes features that have been decontented over the years such as metal scuff plates, door presenters, large frunk and so on) that, if Ford removed, would be a deal-breaker and absolutely send you to another brand?
oh, and making the vehicle ICE doesn’t count ?
It’s tough to come up with one deal-breaker, but I’d have to say the large sync screen. If Ford replaced that with a small screen or something else inferior, that would likely be the straw that sends me elsewhere.
AUDIBLE blind spot monitoring (not just a blinking light in the side view mirror). That’s a prerequisite for any car I buy. There are numerous threads along the lines of “what features do you wish the Mustang Mach-E had”.

Narrowing it down to 1 is a hard task. I agree 100% on the frunk. Doing otherwise is lazy engineering imo. Removal of the IPC would cause an immediate about face from a dealer’s showroom. No AppleCarplay, is also a no deal. And range.Frunk. I won't consider a BEV that doesn't have a frunk. To me it is lazy engineering to leave out that obviously BEV unique feature.
Range is also critical to me, so if they stopped making them with the largest battery there is no way I could consider another. In fact, I want more range now.
