Email from Ford: Tesla NACS Replacement Adapter Shipping Soon

It would seem Ford shipped ~30,000 adapters in the last 3 days. Maybe all today. #29885 shipped three days ago, 59859 shipped today, and (maybe) all the replacements shipped today too. I wonder if they are all Lectrons.

No, it's not that simple. Mine is approximately #41,000, and shows no sign of having shipped. Ford.com says it is currently "in production".

Have you gotten an email? Check your spam folder maybe. I got an email Nov 12, got it delivered Nov 14, and my Ford.com status also says "in production". Having seen a 59k ship I hope yours is on the way.

No, no email in spam or anywhere else. I generally get my emails from Ford without difficulty.

I think it's more likely that Ford is shipping these adapters out of order than that they suddently shipped 30k of them in a week. I'm in no hurry, so I'll just keep waiting...

Maybe the email issue is on Ford's side and not yours. I hope they are in order and you see an adapter Monday or Tuesday next week. That would be good for you and if it ends up being significantly faster than 4k/month that would be good for everyone else waiting for an adapter.

So far, I see only a single report on this forum of an adapter shipping with an order number above 30k. I did not do an extensive search, but if there were another 30k shipping notices sent in the past 3 days, I think we'd be hearing about more than just one of them. We'll find out soon enough.

So far, I see only a single report on this forum of an adapter shipping with an order number above 30k. I did not do an extensive search, but if there were another 30k shipping notices sent in the past 3 days, I think we'd be hearing about more than just one of them. We'll find out soon enough.

No, I didn't miss it. That was the one single report I've ever seen of shipment of an adapter with an order number higher than 30,000.

Joking aside, this forum includes only a small portion of Mach E owners. Maybe they really are in the mail. And if that post about 59859 shipping isn't true, then I am totally wrong.

UPDATE: I just did a quick search of reddit and I also do not see an order between 59,000 and 29,000. RickMachE just replied to me in a different thread and said that the 59,000 order was a mistake. Likely order number was mis-typed. Bummer.

I received my replacement adapter from Ford today. It's the Tesla made one instead of the Lectron version that Ford is offering.

My replacement arrived yesterday. The adapter was in the same "Ford - Our Gift For You" box and the box had been shipped inside a padded brown envelope. It's obvious that the enveloped had been damaged at some point along the way as the package had been rolled into a ball and hurriedly wrapped every which way with packing tape. Inside the envelop I found the box and the return instructions, but there was no return shipping label. I called the number on the instruction sheet but the CSR wasn't able to assist. He said he'd have to send the problem to their "operations" unit and that I should hear from them in the next 5 days. We'll see...
