Thanks, I appreciate it! Are the powertrain and BCM updates ties to any specific issue?
Powertrain is updated several times throughout the year (like on average 3-5 times). And in your case you have two outstanding FSAs that address issues by updating all of your powertrain modules. If that answers your question.

The BCM update I'm not certain about. I seem to remember there was a reason for it but it was a while ago.

Not sure why the drought but I'll take a check thanks! 3FMTK3SU9NMA41574
By drought, I assume you mean OTAs?

There's a few things you could do if you wanted to update using FDRS:

I would really appreciate a checkup on my mme. Vin no. 3fmtk3su1nma23876
i had it in for the 23b50 csp and the HVBJB recall In march. Supposedly both were done but Csp23b50 still hasn’t cleared. Ford said as long as it was done don’t worry about it not clearing. This summer got bc1.3 with no issues but latest ota was sep 23, and its showing the following. I don’t mind waiting but want to make sure it’s able to update. Thanks so much in advance.

I show you successfully got a GWM OTA on the 23rd of September.

ECG-24.2.5.6.1 was a gateway update.

Here's your current list in FDRS:

You do still show FSA 23B50 as outstanding. So when you're handed lemons....

In your list above you have a set of powertrain updates (PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, SOBDMC).

New powertrain updates (or partial subsets of selected modules) show up 3-5 times a year on average.

So were I you, I'd be on the phone to the service advisor booking an appointment to have 23B50 applied, which would knock out all of the available powertrain items in this list. You don't have to 'remind' them that they already did that (or they say they did). You have an open action, and you have the updated software for all those modules in your list. I'd say that's a win-win.

Thanks so much Mike, I appreciate it very much. I felt like something might be off. Hopefully they’ll take care of it this time.

Hey all,

It’s been two months since I’ve done the car now and I wanted to check in to see if it has received any updates at all. I think I know the answer and it’s probably stuck and I most likely have to buy the stuff to do the updates myself.

No luck with the BEV or the “In Vehicle Technology” team up in Canada.

Please let me know what you see, if I have ever received any updates, and also if you have any ideas of how I could get a dealer to do this for me under warranty. I’m still on powerup 3.5.3 Thanks!

I would contact Ford Customer Service and talk to the BEV team and ask that they look at the details of your car's health reports and the list of available software updates. You show a lot of DTCs for a wide variety of things. Ask the team to open a case and work with your local dealer to get you caught up so that things start flowing.

OTA history is blank indicating nothing has been sent to you in 60 days +. Your car is on Sync 22228 which is over two years old at this point. When a vehicle falls that far behind, it is VERY difficult for the OTA process to ever get it caught up. I would definitely recommend going the FDRS route. Once you get updated, the OTA process will do a decent job of keeping you updated.

I think that the service department finished the HVBJB recall.

While the car did not need any module updates, did they at least fire up FDRS and check like they should?

Thanks, I guess that’s the next step. With the number of updates I have, would I be able to get everything done with the 2 day FDRS subscription or would I have to purchase the 1 month?

If you plan accordingly, two days will be enough. We'll be here to help with the process if you get stuck.

Hi Mike,
So impressive to see your ongoing support to this forum over the years!

I’m still on my 21 AWD ER (build 1) from new. I’ve read elsewhere on macheforum that Ford stopped Power Up OTAs on this model. Think any truth to that?

Just it back from dealer Brake update. Friendly Tech said he did some other updates. (FOC).

When time allows could you pls run myVIN WF0TR3SU1MMA16209

Greetings from UK??

??James
