I don't know what the software limits might be on my GTPE.
But I have yet to experience a frown when I give it the spurs.

The thing just scoots!

There are several options. You can add or use button to access the trunk. I image you could research the same for the frunk. Other option is to get and add a fob that opens both. I have one, and love it.

The Lightning keyfob is one of my absolute favorite changes I've made. It's nice being able to pop either end as I'm walking up to the car. And I use the frunk a lot for small shopping trips (2-3 bags).

No way to add a hard button for the Frunk. I researched and tried doing it back in '21 when I got my first Mach-E. Sync screen, Keypad on drivers door, key fob and release lever are the only ways to open the Frunk.
