Well they haven't done anything since the work they did on the 20th. And you didn't say why the car was going in.
3FMTK4SX0RMA45602-25-Feb-25Work.jpg

Having said that, you might as well ask them to perform the powertrain updates for the CSP 25B03 High Voltage Battery Charging System Software Update that your car is entitled to.
Ha, A nail in the tire. Then I made the mistake of saying "My Phone connection drops everytime I get a call and I haven't gotten any updates since I got it (DEC). Could you maybe run a diagnostic to see if anything is up."

Thank you very much. I already reached out to them about the CSP

I have a 2021 MME, built December 2020, oldie but a goodie.
However, no OTA updates for something like 6-7 months as I recollect.
It would be nice to know the situation before I boogie in to the dealership, would anyone be able to determine if any issues are blocking OTA updates, when the last update was, anything .
Many thanks in advance for any information from FDRS. jim

That's a pretty old video. Are you just looking to see if there is a pending APIM update? What does FDRS shows under the Software Updates tab? It may have already been applied via OTA or FDRS, so you won't see it. You could also have some other updates pending like a GWM or TCU, in which case you won't see an APIM until those are applied.

I got it working yes that video is out dated. the apim has been updated took a few different usbs but finally it liked one.

Moving onto the GWM . is there any updates that I should NOT do?

Like others on this thread have said, if there's a GWM update do it first, then TCU, then IPC. Be sure to clear DTCs before programming each module. Powertrain modules will be chained, so if you do one you will have to do them all. I'll defer to others on whether there are any modules you should avoid, but we'd need to know exactly what's showing up and if you're having any specific issues with things not working.

You paid for the license so get everything updated. You look like you're going to be spending a number of hours updating your car.

I have a feeling a lot more updates will pop up once you get the GWM updated. Good luck!

Your 12V battery is reporting it's at 15.1 volts (while car is charging maybe? Or while being driven?) but the state of charge is only at 76%. So either the battery is an old one or you need to do the BMS learned values reset steps. Takes like 10 seconds.

OTAs (if you were scheduled to get one) wouldn't process with a SOC that low.

Here's the list of available software updates for your car today in FDRS:

BMS LV Reset:
Without pressing the brake pedal, press the start button to put the vehicle in Accessory mode.

With your foot off the brake, flash the high beams with the stalk 5 times, and then depress and release the brake pedal 3 times, and observe the small red battery icon in the instrument cluster flash three times to acknowledge.

Press the start button to shut the vehicle off.

Start the vehicle and go out for a drive to completely charge the battery up.

GWM, APIM, TCU, and IPC should all be done before doing anything else.

PCM should be next...it will chain in all the powertrain updates at one go (it's scripted).

OBCC can be next to improve DC fast charging.

Then do the BCM (ignore the TPMS retraining step at the end, unless you rotated your tires while doing the programming).

Do the SCCM before doing the PSCM.

Doors, GSM, HVAC, DSM, RFA, ACM, WACM can be done after or really anytime since nothing else is dependent on whether they get done or not.

Too new. It's not surprising you aren't getting anything with a late November '24 build date.

Here's the short list of available updates for your VIN in FDRS:

Thanks, do you all mind running it again, just had the CSB update done and curious what else was updated.

FDRS (dealer service tech). There is a tool routine in FDRS called Read the Configuration Data that will read the car's configuration and restore the data to the cloud. Sometimes the reason the data blocks are there is that the data in the cloud is missing or corrupted. This tool restores the cars 'asbuilt' data configuration to the cloud from the car's current configuration. This may have happened as a result of the ABS module PMI the tech did back in November.

So I was at the dealer today, they wouldn't clear this without possibly spending several hours at full Shop rate, so several hundred dollars to clear the data blocks like you mentioned.... Not something I can afford, I may also consider buying an extended service plan or warranty and I'm wondering if this would then be covered later
