No, you need the real-deal FORScan for that. You can disconnect the negative battery terminal for 20 minutes and that will force reset everything as an alternative.
I performed the reboot with Forescan. Didn't trigger update. Can you check if it pinged back now? Thanks!

Seems the same. You can try rebooting the TCU, too. It may not do anything, but it won't hurt to try. Your car has not reported itself back to the server for 4 hours, so I would try rebooting the TCU and then check for updates.

I have the exact same issue with the same update waiting but no trigger since the 26th. I get the same screen as well in the car where you can’t check for updates. The same thing happened recently with the 10.1.1 update for me until the OTA expired and I ended up applying it with FDRS. A 12v battery disconnect never helped either update. Let us know if you get it to go through.

His OTA was also sent on 3/26, so maybe the issue is on Ford's side.

Yep already tried TCU reboot when I did GWM. I'll be driving it later and see. Thanks for your help!

Does yours show it pinging server?

With the "check now for updates" button removed from the current sync version, how does one force a check?

Yeah, the vehicle report/DTCs are updating so it’s communicating with the servers. But the OTA doesn’t progress normally in our case. Usually there a line saying “Trigger created” or something like that. Ours never shows that so maybe it’s just a problem on Ford’s side.

Click "update details" in the software update screen. When I click that in my truck, it says no updates available at this time or something along those lines. Not sure if it's different for you guys, but I don't think so.

Your 12V battery SOC is 86%. There is no real 'health' state shown unless the battery is actually tested and then you'd be able to determine if replacement is required.

When you next talk to your service advisor, I think you'll recall seeing your headlights come on by themselves occasionally. I'm sure you remember seeing that.

Here's the list of available software updates in FDRS:

I have to admit have not kept up with this thread. My headlights have started to come on by themselves lately. Unlock lock does not help need to go out and flick the headlights on and back to auto or start it and shut it down so they will turn off. Is there a fix for this one and what would it be?

There was a tsb/SSM related to the light switch. Not sure if it is still active. A replacement one fixes the problem.

What do you mean still active? The problem is still happening so it should be also? So no software fix it is the switch that is going. Appears to me the software gets corrupted after a bit (win 98 style) and starts doing strange things but I guess it could be the switch itself. Worked for 4 years and then starts to go by turning on the headlights. Car amazes me sometimes but now I have something to go with my repeated door faults. Nothing goes untouched when it comes to it just function like a normal car.

SSM 51696 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E - Headlamps Turn On By Themselves When Vehicle Is Off - Built On Or Before 19-Aug-2022

Some 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E vehicles built on or before 19-Aug-2022 may exhibit a condition of intermittent headlamp operation while the vehicle is off and have diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1533 stored in the body control module (BCM). This may be due to the internal logic within the headlamp switch. To correct this condition, replace the headlamp switch (service base PN: 11654). Refer Workshop Manual, Section 417-01. For claiming, use casual part 11654 and the applicable labor operations of Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

----End SSM----

Kind of did it again last night no phones moving or close this time either. Noted the tails this time as it was dark. Unlike the other times this time they came on stayed on a bit and then shut down itself ?‍♂ . With how it treats 12V's I can do without the headlights coming on randomly. Drew power last night no pump no charging so maybe recharging the 12V? Good to see it is getting smart enough to at least work like a 12V charger (when plugged to L2 ?‍♂)

Can it flash or turn on the headlights if trying to update? I do not use (turn) the knob ever. On auto and that has been it. Weird that all of a sudden after 4 years and no use it starts to go?

Updates lately
1/29/2025 - 24-PU0102-SVD-FX2
1/22/2025 - power up 6.8
12/11/2024 - 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX

@DeusEx

If I remember correctly, it's now labeled as "Software Updates" instead. It does the same thing, but it was just renamed.
