Why not?Side note: A 2023 can not be a Job 1 car.
I should amend my previous post to say " I will be happy to get this update a couple quarters late" I have a big enough paper trail with my dealer and with Ford's EV team that if I do not get it, I'll escalate to get the dealer to install it for me at no charge. But have you actually received this OTA on your 21?
Ah the ol residual ground speed display. We hardly knew ye.Saddened to know that soon the ground speed on the IPC when at a stop will know longer mirror the anxious 1 mph motion of a mustang waiting to bolt off the line. Memorializing with this image.![]()
If they’re built in 2024, I’d call them 2024s. If they’re built in 2025 I’d call them 2025s or planned cars. Not every division in production has a meaning to the ultimate customer, some are just marks on calendars. Others matter, such as when a significant software change was made or a major decontenting from earlier models in the same year. What would you call model year cars built between January and 1st week of July and cars built after that and until end of year?
In the case of the Mach E, Job 1 only refers cars built before July 2021. No other year has that designation. My understanding is that each model year goes through a mid cycle "refresh" (I use this very loosely) so each model year would have a Job 1 and Job 2.

Weirdos? Here? In my Mach-e forum? Nooooooooooo, surely.Couple nice little fixes here!
Also, this addresses one more request on the Super Poll (bringing back the centered speedo for those weirdos who don’t use driver assist).
Now if we could just get one-tap trunk access?!
Really it’s only a Job 1 or Job 2 if Ford calls it that. Otherwise, you can call it whatever you like but it doesn’t make it so. With all that said, it’s splitting hairs, I knew exactly what @filequit and others were referring to and I’m sure pretty much everyone else did as well. Besides it’s not like we’re arguing about something profoundly important such as the misuse of there, their, and they’re.all of the MY seem to have a J1 and J2 production phase, regardless of what they decide to call it.
Yeah the 10.2 upgrade "broke" the power bar for me. I have had it enabled in FORScan shortly after I bought the car along with the temperature instead of the compass on the IPC.Not yet, but If you can see his power bar and it's still jailbars then he has it enabled in Forscan and it still isn't working in this update. I'm too lazy to do another experiment so I'll just assume it's still disabled for non-GTs in this update as well lol
