So, let me get this straight (as one of those few hundred customers with a problem), my car is still at the factory and it will take at least 8 weeks to solve the problem! I have waited 14 and half months and received zilch in the way of communication about the problem. And this "executive" thinks they are doing a good job? ( Jan 25 article quoting Hau Thai-Tang, Ford's vice president of product development and purchasing )

The only comfort I MIGHT find in this, is that mine has already been in production jail for 48 of those 56 days.

A bigger question that I think is really important is WHAT part had the quality issue, and PLEASE don't tell me it is a quality problem with the battery supplier (ref Kuga, Escape, and Corsair PHEV problem)! I will be transporting my family around in a vehicle where we are sitting on Lithium Ion batteries that can "Halt and Catch Fire". Those familiar with the early days of the PC may find some humor int the phrase, but in those days it would not kill you!

Thanks for the thoughts, I may just stop by the dealer and see what response I can get in person if nothing changes in another week. Knowing where the car is will not really change anything but like you said they really should be responsive about customer service.

As usual, getting help from the forum is probably quicker and easier than working with the dealer. ;) Now about that VV...
I have to say that my order got caught up in the quality check, but with this forum I have been able to track it all pretty well. Yeah it would be nice to have the MME now as originally scheduled, but a couple of weeks late after 6 months, is a good first world problem to have. Yes I am jealous of those who have received theirs.

The other part of this reply. I do have to give a shout of to Cameron Savarani at Walnut Creek Ford. He has been very responsive to any questions I have had. Not his or the dealers fault of the little production bump. I just hope most get the same service and communication I have had.

Looking forward to more 1st impressions.. Oh and can the damm train hurry up..lol What is that word GIDDY UP!

Last Tuesday morning Palsapp showed that my MME had arrived in Kansas City. This morning (6 days later), I asked my dealer for an update and he said it is on a train in Wyoming, scheduled to arrive in LA this Thursday (my estimated delivery date). He said whether I actually can get it Thursday depends on when the train gets in and therefore if a truck can haul it to the dealership same day.

Just spoke with my salesperson, was told the ETA is still end of March, even though the car has been in KC since 1/9. Oh well.

Just heard from my Dealer. My car is located somewhere in the Milky Way galaxy, which is good I guess. Maybe it passed Elon's space Tesla on the way to CA.
Important safety tip: Have a heat-shield added before it re-enters the atmosphere. ;)

How are you all tracking it beyond Ford Tracking and palsapp? Muncie ramp etc.. Sorry for such a basic question.

Palsapp & fordtracker customer accessible, but your dealer (or their inventory manager) has access to more detailed "Vehicle Visibility".

Has your dealer been able to help you out with the secondary status from Vehicle Visibility?

Ugh...how did you all make its through the palsapp "null" period with your sanity? My dealer said my car was in MO as of Friday but apparently hasn't been moved off a train or anywhere else yet. Still null...much like any sentiment I had left in my soul. ?
