Got my rail car number from ford chat and called Union Pacific and had the automated system also fax me over the rail car details.

Hoping it will come sooner than the dealer estimated delivery time !

Got a railcar number, it is currently in Conway, Pennsylvania! Seems that the delay emails should be disregarded, as I received one on 04/28 stating the car will be delivered in mid-june, and Ford chat today said that the car was shipped from KC on 04/29. They are still showing an end date of June 12th but I am expecting the car in New Jersey by this week based on its current location. Hopefully that plays out well.

My order track status updated today to "Dispatched on <br />May 02 2022". Hopefully that means its on the way to the dealer.

Also, does anyone know if the price/incentive protection includes interest rates as they were at the time of order? I can't imagine they would offer that but I thought I read that somewhere.

Following...call me crazy, but I thought I read that somewhere as well...but can't understand that. When ur buying a home u can lock down an interest rate, but ur window is only so long b4 u have to pull that trigger. I think a 7 month window is too good to be true.

First time chatting with Ford. This is crazy. Can't image what their dinner convo must consist of. Well honey, I helped 2,568 people today figure out the status of their vehicle. I think it was my personal best. Sad. If they hired a great IT guy and do some real programing, this could all be solved. Ok I better shut up now, I still have 20 min and 31 secs to go. Sorry, just venting.

Following...call me crazy, but I thought I read that somewhere as well...but can't understand that. When ur buying a home u can lock down an interest rate, but ur window is only so long b4 u have to pull that trigger. I think a 7 month window is too good to be true.

- this is what I was thinking of. He mentions that you can get 0% if it was offered at the time of order.

My dealer mentioned the other day that my order was price protected as of October 2021 when my order was updated to a 22 model year. Not my original order date of 6/12/21. Not really sure how much the rates changed between June and October of 21. Or if the dealer is even correct about the price protection date. I'll update if I find out.

If that's accurate then you've been delivered to the Argentine (BNSF) ramp for you next rail trip... But that doesn't explain why Palsapp says you are still just "picked"-- it should be "delivered" if you are already at Argentine... Maybe they just forgot to mark your car as delivered? Also, Ford Chat didn't give you a date of that last status update? Sometimes I have to ask the Ford Chat people to give me that date because it matters if your status updated to that location 7 days ago or today.

Ford will give you the better of the incentives available at time of order or when you pick it up. That includes any special financing they may be (or were) offering on financing.

YES! I think it's a completely separate thing from the price protection, but your dealer should be able to offer you the incentives available at time of order. In my area Ford was offering 2.49% interest and a $2500 incentive for Ford Options-- but the rate has gone up to 2.74% and the incentive reduced to $2000 as of April (and may get even worse for May) I recently reached out to my dealer to confirm that the incentives at time of order will be available. I think they just have to use their "Smart Vincent" system to lock those in when you go through the purchase process.

That said, folks who had their orders converted from 2021s to 2022s might run into issues because apparently there were no incentives available when orders were converted? Nice! Thanks. This is what I needed. It looks like someone else in Michigan was able to get incentives from the date of their order prior to the 22 model year upgrade. Appreciate the help.

Good luck! Since your in "dispatched", sounds like you are very close.

And here's hoping everyone in our build group has a smooth purchasing process (price protection honored without a fight, rates and Ford Options incentives available from the time of order, no surprise ADMs or forced add-ons).

I reached out to the chat as well and received a similar update, no dates, but with a rail car number though. Im still sitting on order tracker as 'picked' for a good while now too.. no changes there.
